great video .question i found a 1982 honda express out by the curb . took the same side off my bike .is that the way the three washer go. flat washer the the one in the middle and the other flat washer on top. what weight oil do i use.
Might want to find a cap for that overfill valve on the transmission. Wouldn't want to get oil spilled near your tire, or you are really in for a ride.
Wish I could figure some fucking shit out I’m probably only a carb clean away from my 78 working properly but I’m not mechanically inclined at all and it’s making me lose my god damn mind ….so pissed
You might want to check the slider cap, they have a problem leaking from the o ring seal. And I noticed that the head is upside down, if you look under the head there’s a mark the letters EX for exhaust.
Hii guys i have recently acquired one honda express. And i have problems trying to get it starter. I have cleaned the carb and. What do i do next? Get a new battery and a new spark? Help please
My oil tank rotted and leaked into the fuel tank so the fuel was always premixed. Smoked bad and was down on power. Made another oil tank under the seat and it worked great. Its variable oil injection: like 150:1 at idle and 20:1 at WOT so premixed fuel doesnt work well.
I have one.. it has a common issue where the worm gear that pumps the oil into the crankcase will leak when its sitting for a little while.. then its really hard to start and when it finally does it smoke like a chimney for 10 min.. you gotta remove the worm gear in this case and premix your fuel 50:1 ... it totally brought mine back from the dead.. was useless up to that point..mine is a 78.

Thanks mate, that’s the look I was going for! I got a few bits from a company called Motorcycle Products, there shipping is a little expensive but they have almost everything for the express, I’m not sure if they ship overseas but if they do I would highly recommend them 👍
