You talk so unamerican , at least i believe as an european from N.L. american culture is lending to show , because the majority of americans do . Its seems to be " contagious " ? All celebrities lead by example showing of houses , cars and all those other childish toys 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Star-ww2bm hey Absolutely you get orientation or you should If you apply for a position that doesn't include Orientation to the facility and it's policies then you prolly shouldn't work there🤣
Thanks..My coworkers for years have always talked about the things we learn and see from the older generation. I thought it would be a good idea to share some of these lessons. Take care 👍🏼
@@1PTA370 people can learn a lot from time with older folks, I think the US culture emphasis too much hustle mentality that make impatience a major issue with people and wanting to cast the elderly aside. I hope you can keep lifting those 500lb patients for a long time. Drop that smoothie place name too. I’m a long ways away down in Olney but I love seeing all the corners of MD
Reason why i put my big 150hp bike away and only ride my tiny 9hp honda grom, and I spend most of my time in a parking lot learning to wheelie. I lost my care to ride in groups too, but i do sometimes.
I have type 2 diabetes and am 26 years old. Genetically runs in both sides of my family, I was 320lbs, started getting active and eating better and moving, got down to 285 pretty quickly. Never felt so good before in my life! Sadly some real life stuff hit me and for about a month and a half I started doing bad with activity (thankfully gained no weight and stayed on diet), but I was feeling so much better and energetic and my BG levels were controlled without medication when I was forcing myself to do 1 hours of zone 2-3 cardio almost every day. So getting active and moving is totally a life changer and life extender. Im truly thankful I'm still able to move as much as I can and do hard cardio even being so heavy, thankfully I had a lot of muscle before I gained all my weight.
That's good to hear All I can say is keep moving. In my 15 years of working with the elderly all I can say is it's the ones that keep moving that tend to live a healthier life well into the later years 👍🏼
good tip! and in my life, for me its like... don't take adversity personally and emotionally. use the mind, and study the system, for sure. it becomes less emotional and frustrating and disarmed and eventually a friend and serves you, only if you know it.
@@1PTA370 I think for my state, they still get pto. Like if you work prn here you have to do x amount of shifts per month to keep the position. I think they use if for that mostly if they don't want to work that month. Or so I was told by someone who works it here.
@@ValenciaRose. Oh wow. I never heard of that. That's good to know I have only worked in Delaware and Maryland and we don't have that option. I would definitely take advantage of that. Knowing me I would use my PTO for one company while working for another company at the same time🤣🤣🤣🤣
Interesting to hear perspectives into other careers, Im an engineer but found watching your pros and cons video interesting. Im sure people in healthcare would find this info invaluable. Not sure why youtube recommended me this, maybe it knows I like to see perspectives into other careers to broaden my mind haha.
Thanks. Yes I don't see many people talking about this aspect of healthcare in the U.S. so it gave me an idea to start a channel. Maybe you should start one about your field 🤣

@@1PTA370 Software engineer has enough influencers, youtubers, vloggers, blogger, podcasters haha. You name it and theres tons of it. What I will say, is that theres actually so much of it, finding good/real info that isnt garbage, is hard haha. Similar to fitness media (not that I know tons about fitness, but theres just so much blatant bad info because everyone does it). Anyway, Im just rambling now haha, keep up the good work!
I used FAFSA to pay for 2 years of community college and 2 years at my state university. Every semester, I had a few grand left over after tuition that went right into my bank account. I don't think enough people know about this. I don't even think some people believe me when I tell them.
