How had you had enough time and courage to play it and build all of this? Like, I can only play one world for like 150 days and then get bored because idk what should I do next (well maybe the secret is playing dst and no the rog) and knowing that one day lasts for 8 minutes, you probably have played it for like 140 hours... Have you played same world in the same game for years or do you have a ton of free time?
Hello! :D Genuine question that will likely never be answered because the video is old: I don't see any flingomatics, do you spend all of the summer in the caves? Asking because I also want to make a megabase but I find the flingos limiting. Aren't you afraid that all of your hard work will burst into flames if you really need something from your main base and pop up just for a second during summer to get that needed thing?
@tylerking9507 Thanks, I started working on the oasis indeed, but I don't think that turning off wild fires is fair, it's the only thing in my opinion at least that makes summer slightly challenging
Yes, the video is old... Me who got back into the game in 2023.. Day 230 with my pot, my fire and my poor little meat farms, never prepared in advance for the coming seasons because I'm wasting my time on futile things... oh well! Flowers ! Let's make a crown! (While I was supposed to go get resources...), or even me who never prepares myself for the dearcloops every winter and who ends up in stress two days before the start of winter... What else to say, this game is timeless and awesome But otherwise, big GG for your base! (5 years late)
Heres a tip,(That you probably know now within these 5 years) you'll want to base near a sinkhole, I'm not saying that you should restart, but near a sinkhole when the bats spawn, so will the Bunny man they will take care of the bats for you. Edit: while watching the rest of the video, I realized that you already have that
i dont think mushlights even existed back then, and even if they did there wasnt a long term way to fuel them because there wasnt enlightented crown shards
im guessing he goes to the caves, most megabase builders prefer to either live in the oasis or go to the caves and spend summer in the ruins or building a cave base
I just got to day 300 and super excited but I play as wilson cause I just love him don't know why but I like wigfid to love the base gave me some ideas on how I want my chest zone thank u
HOW DO YOU GET A DRAGONFLY PET? Pls do videos on how else to play DST and how to build a mega base like yours! I swear I'll watch all of them, share, re-watch, and make my frens watch it.
make a florid postern zone decoration: make it with some checkerboard floor and make some statues around the portal (circular shape). On the corners do some useful crafting stations to make it useful too. (make like some alchemy engines on the corners is my suggestion, you can make anything you want there) Also if you would ever want some people to join your world put a welcoming sign in the center of the portal zone. You can add thulecite walls too if needed. You're welcome :)
