I'm so sad I missed all HIM concerts before the farewell tour. I live in Canada and they never came less than a 10+ hour drive from home. All those classics I never got to see performed live cry😢

Whatever his problem was, he could have thrown the microphone down anytime, but chose to throw it at the tech. Definitely a diva moment. I hope he apologized to the poor guy.

I love it! I saw this concert in NJ. One of the best ever but the sound quality in this is much better. The music was too loud in NJ n that's not his fault at all. Anyone would get frustrated about simpler things all day long. It's called being human. Ville rocks n rules!

Wow alot of you dont seem to realize somethings so ima fill you in During this time America put a ban on smoking indoors ville valo suffers from serious serious social aniexty which is why you always seem him smoking like a train and drinking on stage, At this same time ville almost died due to drugs and alcoholism coping with depression from the fallout of his long time fiancee which led to His ending of friendship with bam margera even through all this he came out to put on a show for you the fans and your gonna talk shit right now? cause he tryed to do something positive to cope whilst being loyal to his fans??? and unfortunately lost his footing and cool for what 10 seconds? before recovering and finishing the show? Hes human and probably went through more nasty shit in a span of 3 months then 90% of you have in a year amongst the stress of touring and everything else that was going on i didn't even mention. diva my nuts.. you try singing in front of a crowd and look and sound like a fool because some bozo did not check the equipment or set you up with a shitty mic..you can see him making gestures or hand signals to the tech that the mic is malfunctioning.. and finally the dude gets of his ass to come and fix the problem.. I mean anyone is entitled to get pissed off as hell when you're onstage and the whole band is made to look like a garage band.. .. the apology is that the show went on and he finished the tune.. I mean what is up with these fools in Baltimore.. they should get their act together .. making a famous band look like idiots with shitty malfunctioning equipment.. the guy is only human and no wonder he flung the crappy thing

he can be very "diva"-ish in a more discrete way - the way he carries himself - in a more subtle/looser sort of way. But in this instance, this was like the first time I've seen him "overreact" when it comes to "rage" or getting worked up.
Ville seemed to be somewhat tense during the whole Screamworks album tour. My theory is that the band was kinda tired of touring; thus the two-year break. He seems to be in a way better shape nowadays.
I can imagine - never seen that side of him. Hate to say it, but he was almost more like-able when he was friends with Bam and still having a good time - before he grew that horrible goatee and started to forget all the words to his songs.

@@Nxyphoenix here's the thing though he was drunk and he was getting pissed off because the monitor wasn't loud enough for him I guess and he was starting to freak out after that so it was actually a drunk rage versus sometimes we just have to get things out of our system
Obviously he wished to take a microphone from rack and microphone's cord has been setted too short and he was not able to do it. Ville just love his work, love his music and respects his fans who come at his concerts, he is very sensitive to any barriers during the concert. Plus he has stopped to smoke and alcohol after many years. It's a very hard and to make him so nervous, that's it.)
I probably would've raged too if I was in his position. He's trying to sing a sentimental song, he had just quit smoking and he was done with alcohol. And, he's said he's always nervous on stage so I understand why. All of that all at once can be too much sometimes. He handled it like a pro.<3

@yoshicolin666 Why not? He is a rockstar after all lol. I think its more of a big deal with Ville coz he is normally such a calm placid person. He is however human after all and he had recently given up smoking so he lost his cool for a few moments. Its not like some of these other "rockstars" who throw a tantrum by walking off stage never to return let alone finish the gig. I think true HIM fans would forgive him of his moment of madness like you would forgive a family member's mistakes.

I think he's actually between signs. A cusp, between sag and Scorpio. I'm a Sagittarius and I'm a terrible human when I get upset. I'm absolutely horrible, and I just see red, then immediately regret it once my episode is over. I hate this about myself.
@LorrelleiValo I agree with this. I actually thought to myself why do I bother trying to see this band because the sound is so shitty. For some reason when I'm there I can barely make out what he says into the mic and the volume for his singing is always too low or for whatever reason you can barely hear him and it's generally shit. I saw them once and the crowd drowned out almost the entire thing. I was so pissed off I nearly left during the concert. Seriously.
I don't see how this is funny. He almost smacked that dude in the face with the mic. It would be fine to throw it if some guy wasn't crawling along the stage at the time. I don't know.. I feel really horrible when I watch this. I remember watching it like a year ago and wasn't sure if I wanted to see it again. Ville is a normal person, with normal feelings. Just because he's a rockstar doesn't mean he isn't going to snap sometimes. He just tries to hide it in the public. I can tell you right now, If I ever got as much publicity as their band has, I'd be snapping all the time. So I think Ville does a pretty good job at containing it.
