MrMarijunnaKills u thank r job is 100% safe it aint its very dangerous and we train a lot for it but things happen in fires that you don't expect trust me i went interior i had the ceiling falling on me and made my own exit. you dis all firefighters and one day something will happen and a firefighter will show up and they`ll help you out like it was a regular civilian and we deal with ass holes on a daily basis so u aint any different and no our "fire suits" aren't 100% safe it stands up to some heat but will catch on fire iv seen it happen mines been smoking before from being interior and its more stressful than you know so b4 u dis one firefighter thank about the rest coming after you u selfish prick
gracie most people hate firefighters bc they think that we do is ride around in big red trucks going lights and sirens to places and what they dont understand is that to the place we're going we may the god sent angels somebody prayed for in their time of need so i honestly idgaf about ppl who hate me bc im a firefighter
my dad is a FF and Ex-chief and the current LT. of our TL out here in Long beach NY...im also a FF 5years and loving every second of it...love the guys and gals that do this...I would risk my life just to save theirs

I must say, I've never heard of a person hating firefighters, paid or unpaid. Since I live really close to NYC, I've met people who complain about paid firefighters which to me is just ridiculous. People seem to think "well I haven't had to be pulled out of a fire yet so, why should they have to be paid?" Personally, I think there should be no such thing as a volunteer firefighter, I understand why people do it but anyone who risks their lives for others should be compensated and appreciated.
ok will you please help me understand why people hate firefighters in general? im a volunteer firefighter and some people hate volunteers even more? the thing that confuses me more is why hate us we all as firefighters volunteer and paid departments help you people? and some paid departments hate volunteer department ok knock the crap off we need to work together to achieve the same goal so please leave a response to answer my questions or to agree with me on the volunteer and paid dept feud

I'm 15 my dad is the chief at Lorraine volunteer Fire Dept. I am on the grass and wreck squad. My mom is also on the dept. I am at the station every call I carry a pager in school. I understand what this means to everyone. Thank you for all your service and I hope that you are thankful for me and my families service.
I wish all parents were like you! I have countless friends at my volunteer house that quit because their parents cant give them the respect that they deserve! bugs the hell outta me. being in the fire department brotherhood/sisterhood is one of the greatest things in the world. thank you for supporting your son!
@Jessica Davis I hope you realize that saying "He is a good firefighter" is by far, the greatest compliment a firefighter can receive. I hope you tell your brother that to his face, it would mean a lot. trust me, im a part of the brotherhood/sisterhood of firefighters, receiving a compliment such as that is one of the greatest memories of a firefighters career.
here are volunteers also fully staff so if we die here we also get a worthy funeral. i'm in the family for 4 years now as volunteer. specialism : SAR diver. i know that the trainings are havy and now i burned my lungs with chemical vapours i will even be out of the running for at least 2 years. till i'm good enough again. so i love your video i have showned it at the barn and you have got some more likes :D thanks
