Hello. My name is Luke, and I have a confession to make. I'm addicted to ASMR! I specifically created this channel for the purpose of producing ASMR videos to either help you fall asleep, relax, or experience tingles. Since I can't get triggered by my own videos, I rely on feedback from the viewers.
I was super nervous when I first started making these videos, but now it's very exciting for me. There are some ASMR techniques that I will refuse to use, only because they don't work for me. So, I'm sorry ahead of time if I chose not to do a video that has been requested. I tend to stick with techniques that work for me. My favorite trigger is soft-spoken, so that's also my favorite technique to use.
Hi Luke! I’d love it if you made a video of just you holding up crinkly/loud things in the way you do. The gentle, purposeful movements and sounds of your Oreo and munchpak videos when you try to display the item for us as quietly as possible are bliss.
52:00 - 👀 I think that's an American Dagger Moth caterpillar and it can sting you with those bristles something fierce. You guys got lucky after handling it- haha.
Oh my god, man! I just looked on Google, and you're RIGHT! I also just read that its stingers are poison :O Man! We lucked out on that one. It was my first time ever seeing a caterpillar. I never knew they were capable of stinging.
@@BlackMaleASMR Haha, just like with the berries, your best bet in nature is to leave well alone unless you know for sure what you're dealing with. Lotsa nasty stuff out there that seems harmless. 🤷♂
I had commented then realized this was over an hour! Thanks for taking us along and for sharing some of your city. I was dying at the Cat Cafe! I want one here! I love pups and kits but don't want my own. A place like that would help with the cat/dog lovins cravings then I could go home. LOL Where I work, several clients bring in their dogs. I love that! Back to MI- the John Ball Zoo is a favorite day trip for folks from my area. It's been too long since I've been exploring in my own state. I need to rectify that next summer!
Oh yes. The cat cafe is great! They also allow you to adopt some of the cats if you want to :) John Ball Zoo was beautiful! Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the entire zoo due to time constraints. It was very organized and uniquely designed. We loved it.
If you took I 75 up, you were 30 miles from me up near exit 259 at Grayling.(east of me) It's been about a decade since I visited anywhere near "The Bridge". That is how we call the Mackinac Bridge, at least those of us Michiganders who live up north do. lol FYI- the Michigan tourism industry gets work visas and brings in thousands of workers from all over the world. The "big" resort 30 miles west of my town hires several hundred Jamaicans.
WOW! Thank you for the information. I honestly don't remember which highways I took. We used Google Maps to get all the way there :D Now I understand why I saw so many foreigners working there. And you're right about the Jamaicans! The hotel we stayed in on Lake Huron had mostly Jamaicans working there. The hotel is in serious need of a renovation, but it was clean and had great customer service.
@BlackMaleASMR Lots of the motels need some upgrades. They get their repeat (annual) customers who won't stay any place else. Up in the UP, you'll find motels built in the 30s thru 60s that look almost the same as when built. I sense that there's a level of comfort for their annual customers and they don't want to mess with success.
I believe you. The demand there is so high that there really isn't a need for the hotels to perform renovations. When we finally made it to Grand Rapids, we stayed at a Drury Inn, and it was SO MUCH better than the hotel were we stayed in Mackinaw City! The only problem is that nothing was within walking distance of the Drury Inn :(
This was a very fun and relaxing vid to watch🙏🏽 I’m in Saginaw and I have yet to take a trip to either place , beautiful spots you chose 🔥 Hope your trip back was smooth
Saginaw! I remember seeing that name on the highway sings while I was driving :) Between to two cities I visited, I think I liked Mackinaw City the best, but Grand Rapids has a lot more to do. The drive back was a lot easier than the drive there too! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Hello. I am wearing purple contact lenses. My natural eye color is dark brown, but they almost look black. My contact lenses are prescription as well, so that's why I always have them in.
Hey, pellston22. We wanted to cross that beautiful bridge, but we just didn't have time :'( In the video where you see us close to the bridge, I think we were heading to a restaurant named Wienerlicious. HAHA! That was one of the coolest buildings and coolest names I'd ever witnessed.
Crazy! I watched this video last night and I’m here at my friends and they offered me these! I have to say I’m not a fan. Had one and I was good. 😂 The coke flavour is subtle. But they’re cool ;)
I swear you always post more often when I'm prepping to head back to STL 😅 and I'm so glad you got to experience Mackinaw! I went a few years ago and I've been dying to go back ever since. The weather was amazing and the atmosphere was so different from what I'm used to. And that fudge shop you stopped in has the *Best* *Fudge* I've ever had In My Life, and fortunately I can find some of it locally in KY! I found that chain liquor stores sometimes carry it! Unfortunately they don't carry the caramel corn from Mackinac Island, which made me change my mind about caramel corn. What I wouldnt give for a bag of that stuff right now!
Hey! I agree with you about Mackinaw City! It was so strange to me, but in a good way. I felt like I had entered the "Twilight Zone". It was the complete opposite of Saint Louis. I just didn't like how cold the weather was. When you visit Saint Louis again, you should definitely go to the City Museum if you haven't experienced it yet. It's my favorite place to visit in Saint Louis. If you also want to know of other things you can do/try here, then let me know.
My last video was supposed to be 100% whispering, but I had totally forgotten until I was already halfway through it :'( I'll figure something out, because I know a lot of people prefer it.
I tried these for myself a few days ago at work and was wondering if you were gonna upload your own reaction and THANK GOD you did. Personally, I wasn’t a big fan of these but I do love to taste test. I also tried the pumpkin spice ones and they’re amazing.
That's good because that means there will be more left for me ;) You're right about the Pumpkin Spice Oreos. I tried those years ago and there were really good!
Hello. It's from a luxury air freshener made by an Italian company named Dr. Vranjes. This specific fragrance is "Rosso Nobile Decanter and Bordeaux Bottle". These days I just buy the regular Rosso Nobile diffusers because they work better than the one that came in the bottle that you see in the video. The best way to describe the smell is if you mix Welch's grape juice with a bunch of grape bubble gum. I just kept the empty bottle for decoration.
@@BlackMaleASMR i remember from your smells like a collection video that you don't drink alcohol so you don't know what any of that stuff smells like ;) So I was pretty sure it wasn't a liquor bottle
All week I've been seeing people on my Instagram trying these out and as soon as I saw them I just knew we had another BlackMaleASMR video inbound!! Best in the business back at it again! P.S. It's never too late to make it a fully whispered video...
Love to watch you do these! Just a sidenote: your eyes are so beautiful. I don’t know if you’re wearing lenses or if you’re not, but it doesn’t matter. Looks amazing! And how do you keep your house so clean?❤️
Thank you. I am wearing purple contact lenses. I always have them in because they're also prescription. I'm blind without them. Also, my house is always like this because I live alone and NEVER cook! I just eat at restaurants or have food delivered to me all of the time :D
Hello. I'll never do a tapping video because those types of video give me the opposite affect of ASMR. Tapping is just not something I naturally do. I do plan on making other types of ASMR videos though. I just want my videos to have a natural feel to them.
The GOAT has returned :) I think the pop rocks must represent the sizzling bubbles that are in the Coke. You’ve made an impression so now I’ll need to find me some Coke Oreo cookies especially because they make you happy. Take Care. PS I’m waiting for them to come out with an Oreo emoji.
Me ,pregnant of 4 months and thinking that i need those oreo but i cant since i live in canada and they only have them in u.s.a 😂😂😂😂😂but i sure as hell will search on the internet to see if i can get some😂im glad to see another video of you👏👏👏
You know what? Years ago I had some limited edition Oreos that were produced in Canada but NOT SOLD IN CANADA :O I don't know whose idea that was. These Coca-Cola Oreos are produced in America. I bought mine from the Target website, so see if they'll ship some to you too!
