My truck is showroom stock and I didn’t air down. It’s got rear lockers but I only used them on the very short section at the beginning. I’m sure a jeep in 4 low would make it easily.
A journey to the dark side...glad you made it back. Friend o' mine just bought a TURN cargo bike. No idea $. Looked great though. I'm inching closer to a truck/bike swap. Do you know the difference between hub and BB motors?
I returned this bike because you could not reduce the assist speed. Level 1 should be about 8 mph and speed increases as you move up to level 5. Hub motors are less expensive and are less complicated. Most high end bikes with the exception of cargo bikes use the BB motors. I guess it depends on how you use it. MTB definitely BB to keep the working clean. Around town, casual probably price point.
@@thecyclepath-blogger1953 downhill is the payoff for all the work getting to the top. Top speed on that run is only about 35 mph (58 kmh). The gearing on my bike tops out at that speed. I can’t peddle any faster.
In all of the excitement this weekend I forgot to view this when it came out. [You know; Tour stuff and some random political news]. But hey, nice job on those Cols. I'm thinkin' Tadej doesn't have to worry much? Thought I heard rotors at the 4:30 mark. I just replaced oil, rotors and pads last week. So satisfying.
@@robertwallace4953 I was overbraking and skidded the rear tire just like in the TdF. Also picked up a wire in the rear tire. Felt squishy but got home, next morning it was flat.
Happy belated David! I don't know how you managed to navigate through the jungle @ 7:10 but it was impressive! I am definitely going to check these parks out. Thanks for sharing with us.
If you get some bladed spokes and sharpen the leading edge you could do trail maintenance and trail forging at the same time. I'd ask how the knee is doing but the ascents of the >12% hills answered that. Rad skills!
The beginning (or end) of the Santiago creek trail is on Main Street across from the Discovery Cube. In Santa Ana. Peter’s Canyon trail is in Irvine and starts (or ends) at the sports fields (Barranca and Harvard) near the roller hockey rinks.
If you go, don’t miss out on Canyon Park which connects to the Southern portion of Talbert (below Victoria Street). If you hit all the trails you can get over 10 miles of riding.
I don’t think you can get anything more than a 10-round magazine. I did have fun at the range. For this kind of shooting I would like a single shot bolt action rifle.
