theres a reason this video exists. its because that is hands down the best live performance of 'Wish I May' in existence.. So clean and tight (giggity) Im going through some of my old faves, and was curious if this song had a music video, and im so glad i checked the tube. Amazing execution. Been there, done that, but nowhere near as clean as these guys did.
I’ve never seen a live breaking Benjamin Video where Ben sang in tune until this video. (I’m not a hater. I’m a life long fan I don’t care if he struggles to stay in tune I love his music)
Actually, he’s a really good singer, and that’s the more painful thing about his live performances. In the early days he was younger and also his voice, it wasn’t ruined and he didn’t struggle to sing. Nowadays (actually, it’s been several years) unfortunately he’s not physically able to perform live. It sucks, they’re probably my fav band, but let’s face the truth: health and not caring much about his voice led to difficulties during live performances 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve been to one of their recent shows and he sounds wayyyy better now than he did say probably 3 years ago when I went to see them for the first time. From what I understand he’s been doing vocal training and it’s showing 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
When i was a teen, everyone thought it was weird i was obsessed with a random band like Breaking Benjamin. Now, everyone i know likes them, even those who arent crazy abuot them cant come up with anything bad to say. They have aged so well and have become so widly respected. Cant wait for their HOF induction
!;48 - he's already turning away from the mic for vocal effect here. Impressed with that. Knew he did it at Stabler arena but 1st time I've noticed it at Staircase. The screaming at the end was spot on!
this is literally the video that made me an autopilot off fan. the sign at the beginning of the video lol. Such a great band, too bad their career was so short. Oh and BB killed it as usual lol
northeastern pa boys making us so proud ! I remember watching them play as an opening band at happy hrs in Scranton pa. still awesome even today in 2023
