Looks great as always! 😊 Also I know I’ve asked before but I’ve completely forgotten. What are the best packs for building items, I remember you saying Aquatic, conservation but I can’t remember the 3rd one 😅
Your videos are great!!! I just worry that even for me I’m learning that some of it is just TOOOO advanced. Practice makes perfect okay, maybe. But I still think that when it comes to building they REAAALLY need just placing a wall or fence like Sims 4, not piecing together 300 hundred pieces and angling it just right to get what you need
came across your channel after getting back into planet zoo, love the content! i appreciate trying to make things realistic as possible and the tips on how to! cant wait to watch more :D
came across your videos last night and I have binge watched this whole playlist since. Dude the amount of effort you put in and your creativity is amazing, as a new PlayStation player I have learned so so much from you and my zoos look so much better, love the aesthetic of this zoo and the way you explain things is super helpful so thank you!
the point is you need a Nasa computer to have so many objects and details on a single shelter - instead of using one only shape, you're suggesting a thousand - yes, it looks better, but the game will get slower if we customize that much 😞
Snapping to the starting building is causing major problems for me, buildings are sinking into the ground and the vet is in same place as yours but apparently isn't there. Anyone else have similar issues?
Adam totally hooked on watching your builds. Your creativity makes it all feel so real. Sadly I’m using the ps5 and build mode is a royal pain! But worth the effort. Thanks for the videos, keep them coming!
How have you built doors thats allowing staff to pass through? Ive attempted my own custom door, but they cant get past. Am I missing something in the settings menu?
Reminds me of my local zoo in real life where the first animals you come to if you walk fowards from the enterance are in a mixed species habitat for giraffes, zebras, and ostriches!
Looking great Adam. I had a similar idea for my next zoo, and one of the things I thought of doing as background decoration was a Stonehenge! I was pleasantly surprised to see you use a similar idea, although yours is at a far higher level than anything I could ever achieve.
i have noticed on occasions that using the glass panels in construction mode causes the guests to think they cant look through it, so they just walk past it. even with education boards etc.
Why use two collums if you gotta delete one anyway? The rotation will still stay centered if you put the pillar on the other wall on the opposite side. Little life hack
Your builds are so cozy and pretty. I'm definitely subbing to a TON of em on the workshop. Thank you so much! I love Planet Zoo and the community it has!!
i tried using a null barrier for a bison habitat to make it seem like a "walk-in through the badlands" but the guest kelt running away nd the bison kept escaping😂 for the null barriers to work, i'm assuming you need to put physical items around them or on too of them??
You need to build your own barriers our of construction pieces or rocks. Here is a null barrier tutorial I made: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rd2y799p4eg.htmlsi=sfQk5FaW2822o2DZ
Hi, I love all your videos. I found them a week ago. I'm going to watch them all. I not good at building in Planet Zoo, but with your turorials I can. You explain everything so well. I'm from germany. A long time ago I lived in England for three years. I really love your voice and your accent. Thank you very much for all your videos. I'm a big fan now.
Hi Adam!! Awesome video, I completely agree that more foliage is so much better. But what about the animals that don't like plant coverage in their habitats, do you have a workaround?
@@adamup Haha sounds good! For franchise I also just found that some specific bushes have 0% impact on coverage, so now I'm using them to decorate without the animals getting pissed off... lol! Thank you for your reply!
I like Stonehenge. IRL it was a stone age ritual site and there's evidence that peoples from all over modern Britain would come to it for one or both of the equinoxes for feasts and rituals. There are also many other henge sites across the UK and I think even a few on the mainland too. Stonehenge is the best preserved of them though.
Would you be able to do a savanna natural habitat for the spotted hyena? I have been experimenting myself although not familiar with the natural landscape of the savanna. I can picture in my head watch wildlife on one a hell of a load as a kid. I just can't project in game as i get lag issues after doing water reserves.
I believe the "stone gate" is called a stile (not even sure I'd I've spelt that right😅) Edit: I looked it up and a stile is "an arrangement of steps that allows people but not animals to climb over a fence or wall.". I don't know if it still applies 🫠
How do you get ideas for how your buildings should look? Do you look at pictures online or do you just think of them off the top of your head? I loveeeee your builds, i wish i could easily think of designs like this!
I struggle with the planning and layout I have ideas for habitats but when it comes to knowing where to place them and the paths and the terrain i can’t do it
it all comes with practice a big thing for me was taking the worry of paths out; so building on the grid with everything or just covering the paths with my own
Is there any reason not to delete the second top panel? When you copy your first run, you omit the bottom panel. It looks like you could also omit the top panel. I think it gets doubled up exactly.
Love these videos. Used to be a zookeeper for Pygmy hippos so love seeing them get some attention! I want to do something like this but also give them a paddock area with lots of trees as they’re big browsers!
