Well, it’s 2024 and my 870 DM tactical is still performing flawlessly. Bought mine brand new back in 2019. Only modification is a Wilson combat pistol grip adapter. Bummer about the mags but I bought 4 with my shogun purchase. Really wish Magpul made after market mags. They’d do it right.
I have a J arm the pinch clip piece for the old mount system. what is that mount device you have attached to the pvs14 to attach it to the helmet mount?
I recently purchased the Surge 762. Have fired it in my 20” M&P 10 and 16” M&P 16 (used the 762 endcap). You hear the crack of the round, not the bang. It’s crazy. How about a video on recommended cleaning of this ?
good suppressor , but the build quality isn't that good. i've only shot 1000 rounds through mine and cleaned it once and part of the finish on the tube already came off. I didn't realized there was a misalignment with the body and cap. Fully functional, but doesn't look good.
When I used to work at the car wash we got federal armored vehicles all the time they had armored onboard rifle and pistol safes with hand scanners to open weapon lockers
I have hundreds surrounds down my DBX. It is an amazing firearm and the perfect backpack/camping gun. I have heard horror stories about trying to suppress it though. So I would love to hear or see another video where he describes the process of putting the suppressor on this weapon. Other than that I strongly recommend everyone add this to their collection. It is a great gun.
Thanks for the feedback, Ryan! A video where we describe the process of putting the suppressor on would be pretty short. It's a direct thread can, so, spin it on and start shooting is the sum of it. In our experience, direct thread cans are the easy button.
I own one. Mounted on my desert tech srs. Thing is a dream to shoot. No ear pro. My personal score of the suppressor 9 out of 10. Just wish it was shorter.
I'll let you know when I receive mine (ridgeback, M5 DBM, steel box for 7mm rem mag, Arca Rail, Picatiny and the spirits of being part of the Grayboe fam and success
Old video i know... but i just bought one of these for 650 but I didnt realize the mounting system was so proprietary. Can I get a definitive answer on what rail you used that directly interfeced with the raptar? I looks to me like a centurian rail... which I just so happen to have on a 14.5 build of mine and it does have hols on top but are not tapped. Id really appreciate it if you could clarify exactly how you achieved a direct rail interface mount. Thanks

I’ve run the curved butt pad on both my Tavors for the last 5 years. The gun rolls up from low ready into the pocket of the shoulder so much better. It seats perfectly with no slippage, and the top lip is the same length as the factory, so while operationally the gun is an inch shorter, it still keeps within the ATF length guidelines. If you can find it, grab it quick. You won’t regret it.
The V3 is just an awesome shotgun no matter what length the barrel is. I have two, both field sport versions. The 26” barrel I’ve added a barrel length mag tube, oversized bolt release and charge handle. It’s a pain to drill and tap the original bolt release button but it can be done if you remove the temper on it first with heat. I found an 18” barrel and put it on the black field sport and added a +3 mag tube on it too for a home defense gun. I also bought this very TruGlo optic and mounted it. I removed the lens covers as they will come off shooting the heavy loads but the V3 handles recoil like the Benelli M4. Reason is, it’s the same gas system. Best in the field of semi auto shotguns. Buy a +5 mag tube extension on the Turkey model and you’ll have a fantastic home defense gun too! The 13 and 18” barrels come with a gas piston plug. The later V3s have a compensation port gas piston plug that helps even more with recoil and you can buy extra ones and swap them in place of the plugs. You may have to remove some material in the forend though. Not a big deal. But I sold my 1301 and my M4 because I have two V3s that can handle everything I need a shotgun to do now. And I used the money from those other two shotguns for a down payment on a new motorcycle! 😅😅 Thanks for the video. I’ll probably pick up a Turkey model soon. Can’t have enough V3s.
Thanks for a great video. I just moved to a free state and I am already waiting on the ATF to process a couple of Form-4s, but I am still looking for a .22. I would primarily use it on .22lr, both pistol and rifle, and I have been looking at the Warlock. I know this is only rated for .22, but I like that it is only 3oz which would be handy for my kids on a handgun. It's also only $200.. However, it's been out of stock for months now and I think I will just go ahead and order the Sparrow since it looks pretty cool. It is also nice to have the ability to use it with more powerful cartridges.
I would rec against an all aluminum can like the warlock. They are much too hard to clean. Get a sparrow, mask or anything with stainless steel baffles and clean it using undiluted CLR liquid in an ultrasonic cleaner. Keep any titanium or aluminum tubes or end caps OUT of the Ultrasonic because it will damage them.
You'd likely have a baffle strike long before it walked off. SOP for us is to check thread mount cans at intervals to mitigate the risk.@@sizzlerscheesetoast
The sparrow uses an O-ring. There's actually three O-rings total on the sparrow. Spent fifteen bucks at Amazon and have enough rings to last several generations worth of shooters.
Older video… cool video. I just purchased one today, but gotta wait 10 days to play with it 😢 I’ve heard nothing bad about this rifle, I know I made a good purchase.
The rifle arrived today and I dialed in the scope just a couple hours ago ru-vid.comUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL . I haven’t shot with a scope in probably 25 years. The X on the left was my target. (the shot almost in the bullseye on the right X was my father in laws first shot after I made adjustments) The two shots circled are my first 2 shots. Then I brought it down - shot once. Then brought it over to the left. From there zeroed it in to dead center. This all was from 25 yards out. Follow instructions carefully when mounting the scope. So far I'm very happy with the purchase.
We wanted one of this to see the critters in our backyard. ru-vid.comUgkxGix1RueFf66g4dKZ0w4Qsw_3Vv6Xqant The first thing that I like about this is that it has a rechargeable battery. The other is that it is small and fairly easy to use. The instructions weren't too great but we played with it awhile and figured it out. Can see very well in our back yard down to the woods which is roughly a football field length in the dark. There were certainly more expensive ones out there but this works for us and was within our price range. We have not tried the video recording portion and may update the review later.
