I'm rooting for him. Kinda an "underdog" in a way (odds don't say so though) due to the fact he hasn't ran a race on dirt. Trainers that will put their horses vs adversity....I'll always root for them. Very cool video watching the other riders use their horses at various stage of the race...each one with a job. City of Troy's jockey didn't ask for run til late, in which he passed the final horse that still had gas left. City of Troy, during the first 3/4 of the distance, kept up without being asked. I have no clue who the other horses were, but the fact they "ganged up" during this workout and COT prevailed, tells us he's likely no donkey on dirt. Justify is cranking out runners.
It wasnt a gang workout as explained in TDN - Europe racing news. The trainer O'Brien explains that a fake mile race was set up designed to be a grueling pace, with pacesetters leading fast. It was designed to teach City of Troy to go forward.

When he needs more speed he reaches out great .. lets hope he is lucky . Moore might have him In the pack coming around the last bend . Although Aidan said he would go forward .

With Torpedo Anna @ 1 to 5 going with the old school exacta wheel two horses over her. Would like to see her win but think she will bounce and its just good business from a money making standpoint.😊
Next is very intriguing in the Classic along w/ City of Troy. Del Mar's track is speed biased so I'd expect both 2 b forwardly placed. Fierceness should love the surface while Muth is a sleeper. Thorpedo is the horse 2 beat in the Distaff but don't overlook the Japanese horse. Adare Manor is dangerous if she's healthy.
