Thanks you. I'm descended from Isabel & Guillaume le Mareschal (William Marshall) through the Butler & Howard families.

Small mistake: King John's son was of course Henry III, not II.

Correct. Henry III, the son of King John, was the father of King Edward I & Edmund, Earl of Lancaster & Leicester. I'm descended from Edmund through the Howard family.

Why was Desart Court 'razed to the ground' in 1957? I was in the area in the late 50's - mid-60's and have no memory of this. I remember the Kelly and Malone families, in the area. I'd love an update; thanks.

Great lecture. If you trace the Cuffe ancestry back to the Muschamp ancestor (Col Agmon... Muschamp) you will meet a common ancestor with Princess Diana and the next King of England

It is the hands of curators like yourself to put these images "on the internet", i.e. WikiCommons, so they can be used by people like yourself and others in the future. There, they can be tagged with the artist's biography etc and be very useful for future researchers. #OpenAccess

I appreciate all the hard work that went into making this presentation but between my poor hearing and the quality of the audio, I am afraid I am not getting much out of it. Sorry.

Have you tried turning the subtitles on? We're sorry about the poor quality, but with zoom and rural broadband, it can be hit and miss.
