Alien Romulus was such a breath of fresh air. Everything that happened to the characters was either because they genuinely wouldn't know what was going to happen, or the monster was just that powerful that there was nothing they could do. It didn't rely on people making bullshit, absurd decisions to put themselves in danger.
If nothing else the human setting in Romulus maybe explains some of this wild behavior in Prometheus and Covenant, Romulus demonstrates regular civilians willing to do very high risk things in a desperate effort to escape the mines, we don't get a whole lot of background on this expendable characters in Prometheus and Covenant, maybe they were in similar situations and were simply willing to go on what sounded like suicide missions as a chance for a better life and were given minimal slapped together training before being launched into space as experimental fodder, it would certainly explain a lot

I lowered mine 1 3/8" just loosen the upper and lower pinch bolts, and sliding the trees down Also deleted choke cable. Reach down to 3rd carb and choke it with the black plastic lever for cold starts
My friend, that's what it SHOULD have looked like when they put it on the market... maybe a version of the base... like the old Honda 500 CX's... you could get the base street model, but you could also get the Touring kit with fairing, saddlebacks, ect... off to the side there was also a High Performance Turbo-Charged version, pumped up to 600cc... but yeah, this would have been a definitely viable mod.
