How do you create the interactive hub space for your customers to pick the type of format they want their planners to be in after purchasing? been trying figure out how for months
Hi! I've created a document using Adobe InDesign and then added hyperlinks to the relevant boxes. I then export the file as an interactive PDF so the hyperlinks work :)
This looks great and I'm thinking of purchasing. But I wanted to make sure that it is compatible with my tablet. I'm using a Samsung S9+. Am I right in thinking that the Google calendar links will also work in any note taking app in Android or is it only a goodnotes feature? Many thanks in advance
Hi, as explained in the video the digital planner and google calendar are not synchronised, instead the digital planner has integrated hyperlinks to allow you to easily and conveniently add hourly/all day events to your google calendar.
As the Digital Planner and Calendars are not synchronised, you will have to copy and paste the event. However, when you copy and paste a Google Event it will capture the event title, date and time and if you don't want this info, you'll need to delete it. In most cases, it's easier to use split view for your Digital Planner and Google Calendar, and then write out any events in your Digital Planner. Hope this helps!
i personally use a fountain pen, bc you can choose how much pressure you want to use and i zoom too while writing. i tried for a while to do it without zooming, but it was hell on earth. my handwriting was messy and i didn't like it at all. thanks for all the advices you gave us 🙏🏻💕
There's not many resources so I ended up figuring it out myself after lots of trial and error, but another Digital Planner creator has recently uploaded a fantastic video on how to add the links. If you search for 'How to Link a Digital Planner to Google & Apple Calendar' you'll see their video - hope this helps!
This setup is different! And you didn't ask anyone to do it for you. 👍 Never heard that cream is essential at a desk. 😂 Some time ago I heard that the reason why women's keyboards are full of germs is because their hands are creamed.
I use digital planner but my handwriting cannot be as pretty as yours. You have such good control. Do you have tips on how to get the beautiful writing, like pen size that you use or screen protector that’s ensuring the grip ???
Thank you! It's definitely taken some practice and I've slowly become used to writing on my iPad. My top tips would be to use a matt screen protector (I use the one from Paperlike), use the ball pen and start with a pen thickness around 0.4-0.6mm :)
I tried to plan my day an evening before, but then next I was completely not in mood to do the list I wrote. So now I switched to the morning planning of the day.😊
I have days like that sometimes, there's times where I plan to work on a few creative tasks but in the morning I'm not in a very creative mood so I end up moving things around but I'm glad planning in the mornings works well for you 🧡
Thank you so much for supporting my channel, I'll defo have more videos soon 🫶🏼 For my handwriting I use the ball pen, set the thickness to about 0.35-0.45mm and I try to always rest my palm on the screen as that feels most comfortable for me!
This is impressive. I’ve bought just a few hyperlinked planners, and this welcome pack is most thorough and helpful. And this video! You’ve made the task of switching to digital planning so much easier. I wish I had found you first when I first switched to digital planning! I remember being so overwhelmed with figuring out importing, hyperlinks, and navigating with ease. You’re doing amazing
Hi Bekah, thank you so much for taking the time to leave this comment - really made my day! I'm so glad you found this tutorial helpful and hope you enjoy using the digital planner!
i have to plan in the night all the way. if i plan in the morning i HAVE to do it b4 i get ready, but getting ready is what rlly wakes me up....itd end up taking me a whole 40 minutes just to plan which isNAWT ideal
Thank you 🫶 and thanks for the video suggestion! I've selected the ball pen style, 0.35mm thickness and for the majority of the video I've selected the colour #47002C (if I've missed any other settings let me know)
Thank you!! I use Adobe Premier Pro to edit. I think the free version of GoodNotes is fantastic - even though you're limited to 3 notebooks you get most of the same features. I like to organise my bigger projects into separate documents so the one-time payment for the full version is great value imo!
I loved the aesthetic of this video! Cant wait to see the next one. Is Adobe Premier Pro easy to use or is it a bit of a learning curve also what MacBook do you have?
@@rubinava2509 Thank you so much! At first I found it really confusing but once I learnt the basics (I watched a lot of tutorials on YT) I found it pretty intuitive. I use a MacBook Pro (13 inch, M1, 2020) 😊
