what do you charge for an AKL call when doing smart fobs like this and having to use an xhorse key? What is the name of the cable used to emulate the key?
@@legacylocksmith7874 sorry to ask so many questions. How do you get the right emergency key blades? I see the universal remotes work with a large number of vehicles but how do I know which key blade to have on hand?
what would be the difference if i do it as AKL I will still be using my same new OEM key I have a feeling that the issue is with the programmer s software
@@legacylocksmith7874 some people say that Autel can not cope with CX 30 Yesterday i added a brand new OEM key and like i said i still have the red key What needs to be done in that case
i was asking you because at the beginning of your video you never mentioned if you were adding an aftermarket key Is that what happened and then you ordered and OEM?
sorry for all the questions, i am just trying to see how to get rid of the red light I have 2 OEM keys at the moment both are programmed and still the red key light came ON So i am thinking it is the software that is causing this
And that light only came on when you program a new OEM key? My light came on because I programmed an aftermarket key so after doing all lost and programming the two OEM keys you can go to DTC and clear it then the light should go off. The im508 is good with this car. The only thing I can think of is maybe your key was not OEM or not furbished good enough
I started with programming an aftermarket key, then came there again with a OEM to solve the issue. Maybe you have the red key because you did not learn 2 keys?
@@legacylocksmith7874 now your video makes sense i did follow the Autel instructions 100% Again i have 2 OEM keys one of them has an issue with the proximity part (that was the original, remote works but not the prox, and you have to touch the button to start the car i guess that could be also the problem) I am asking all that coz someone did AKL with autel and the vehicle never started again
Car didn’t start because you need to register 2 keys when doing AKL and in the end you need to start car with every key against push button and then it will work

How were you able to get the ignition on without a key? Do I have to plug in the vci200 and open tech line before pushing the start button for 12 seconds? Or I can simply just push the start button whenever for 12 seconds?
If it’s all key lost, the ignition will be off after you connect to Techline. You going to be told to open and close the door and the ignition will come on automatically.
@@legacylocksmith7874 mechanics used to be paid for labor hours. Not anymore unfortunately. So if a job is listed as a “3 hour repair” but it actually requires 4 in hindsight… the mechanic is only paid for 3…
Easy just go under expert selection, get password, add key, on vehicle Even if you’re steering lock does not communicate, you can still do a key and it will let you, and get you the password
I have this same car. The new key would work like the original with Keyless Entry and Keyless go? So you don't have to take the key out of your pocket to lock/unlock the car and start the engine with the Start button.
