We set the hot foil stamping machine to 100⁰c. Our stamp is separate and is not attached to the hot foil press. The hot foil press transfers heat to the stamp, gold foil, and leather for 30 to 35 seconds. Thanks
@@Eyefeederz Thanks, so was the stamp already hot when you placed it on the gold foil? Or was it cold and you just held it on the gold foil for long enough for it to heat up?

Nice video but I wish it was more detailed for a novice like me, it’ll be nice to know which types of screws and/or nails go where and how to position certain parts of the machine so that a person doesn’t put a part that’s supposed to be on the right to the left and vice versa
Hi, the dimension is straightforward though. The main dimension for the cover is 12. 2 x 7.2 inches. But you are to add 2 inches on each side for folding. The total dimension you are cutting out for the cover would be 16.2 x 11.2 inches.
How did the die have time to heat up? Serious question, you just went poop,, and it was done. Doesn't that I have to be around 300 degrees or so before it works properly?
@@Eyefeederz it looks like he held the die with his fingertips and it should have been super hot. The heat helps the foil bond to the leather. At least that's how I thought it worked. I'm still learning. 😁
@@Eyefeederz im wondering how the die heated when u just placed it there? i thought the die should be physically attached to the machine so it could also heat up?
