Man… like I’m playing what you’re showing in the tabs but 🤔 it dosent make sense.. at least the second part of the intro. Those 7&8 on the 3rd string..? Really? Anyways anyone else actually playing this? Or just listening to the song.
Yes that's exactly how you play it! Slide the 7 to 8 on the g string. You're sure you got your guitar tuned right? And are you using a wound G string? Because if you don't, it won't sound good. And of course the octave effect gives it that classic CKY sound.
@@TabCore_ thanks for the tip. What’s crazy.. is that for whatever reason it sounds more like it when I play it on an acoustic than on electric with o.d/ distortion. Anyways is it drop D at all? I looked up “octave” it said 12 semitones higher than the root note” I don’t know I just gotta listen to the song closely to find the rhythm of that last part. But yeah man. Sick videos! Looks like I’m Gonna learn a whole lotta cky songs no matter how long it takes! 😮💨. But yeah nice job🫡 ✌️
The tuning of almost all CKY songs is D standard. So every string a whole step down. Does your acoustic have a wound g string? If so, that's probably the reason why it sounds good! With the octave effect I mean using a pedal or another way of achieving that classic "octave" sound. Thank you for watching and have fun learning all the CKY songs! A#1 Roller Rager cover is coming soon 🙌
@@TabCore_ f*ck yeah man. You’re the truth! 🙌 I learned disengage the simulator and of course 96….. a few years ago. But I’ll work on a bunch others. Your videos are perfect 👌🏼 🫡
I’m curious what you have your octaver set to. I can get a sound fairly close with a JCM modeler on my Headrush and an octave 2 but the octave effect itself is not quite there. Love this video though. When I first started playing I remember finding this song on guitaretab and saying “what is this” and found a crude video on some sketchy website 🤣 Classic jam.
Awesome job once again 🍻 Do you have plans to just do any covers without the backing tracks and just you playing ? What about riff breakdowns of tricky stuff 🤔 Either way keep them coming
Thanks man! 🙏 I never really thought about doing covers without the backing tracks to be honest, but maybe that's a cool idea! My previous cover of Deron's jam on CKY 4 was only me without any backing track and that turned out pretty cool I think. I'm currently working on some lessons 🤫 Any (CKY/96BB) riff or song in particular you'll like to see?
@@TabCore_ I like how you did Deron's Jam, what about Sniped or Sink Into The Underground with no backing tracks. Those songs in the raw form I've always enjoyed. I've always liked Conditioned or Unconditional, even when it was a demo titled "carver city".
@@TabCore_ No problem. Can I suggest one thing though? Could you move the tab a few mil higher so when pausing the youtube menu doesn't obscure the tab, please? Peace
Awesome work with the videos! Can you make one for rats in the infirmary next? That’s one of the most underrated CKY songs and it had a sick chorus riff
I saw one of your other videos while watching the old clips of deron playing. Thought to myself, man this is clean, wonder if he did wish me dead? Love this song, it has such a powerful flavor to that sludge metal feel. Fantastic layout, clean playing, great editing.
Tabs are available here: tabcorecovers.com/products/cky-inhuman-creation-station-guitar-tab If this video gets 300 likes I'll redo this one with tabs on screen!
Updated tabs available here: tabcorecovers.com/collections/guitar-tabs I originally used shift slides in some places where they should be legato slides. This is fixed in the updated tabs! I do play it correct in this cover though.
Heads up! I originally tabbed shift slides in some places where they should be legato slides. This is fixed in the updated tabs along with some other details! I do play it correct in this cover though. Tabs available here: tabcorecovers.com/products/cky-familiar-realm-guitar-tabs
How do you only have 1k subs? The quality of video, the editing and most importantly the guitar playing is top notch. I can tell your technique is solid based on watching your right hand for most of the video. Nice job sir. I've watched most of your CKY videos. Keep up the good work!
