At the crossroads of history and savoir-faire, of materials and gemstones, L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts helps bring the world of jewelry to the public.
Founded in 2012 with the support of Van Cleef & Arpels, it offers courses, lectures, research projects, exhibitions, and publications, in Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Dubai - its four permanent sites - and in the rest of the world with traveling events. The exhibitions are open to all, in keeping with L’ÉCOLE’s fundamental mission to spread jewelry culture to the widest possible audience.

Are there any Ancient China Dynasties that used Diamond, Emerald, Rubies, Sapphire, Quartz as jewelry or Royal collection ? Ancient China Dynasties already doing jewelry and gems stones from ancient times but look like Diamond are rare items in Ancient China Dynasties, or are they already used in China Ancient Dynasties....
I wish slightly more had been said about the fact that M-A’s portrait artist was literally _sui generis,_ the only female artist of note in France and probably in all of Europe….she was a complete anomaly, enormously talented, and had the necessary qualities to become the great Queen’s close friend and confidant! This is obviously not about Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun, but her very presence at that or any time is clearly notable.
Magnifique et inspirante histoire. Je ne connaissais ni l'artiste ni l'œuvre et c'est pourtant vers ce genre d'objet que je tends ! Merci pour la découverte !
