Of you are skipping the ER, you need to get some wound closure strips (not butterfly style). With the cut being on your knuckle, it will need to be kept straight until it heals. Knuckles take a little longer…no matter how I know! 😉
I was inspired by "Doug Linker" who did a video on how to carve golf balls. If you are interested in more carving videos I would suggest you check him out because he is very skilled.
Thanks for the comment! To answer the question about the golf ball I marked the center with a sharpie and then used a hand saw to cut the very outer layer. After that I used a flat head screw driver to remove the lid leaving behind the core.
Nice touch indeed. 👌 I've just started carving golf balls. Cant believe the difference in composition, say between Slazenger and Dunlop. Slazenger carves a bit crumbly and Dunlop more of a very hard rubber. Similar to yours in this vid.
Thanks, and you are right about each golf ball being different. I have noticed that when I open some up they can be too hard to carve while others are just right. I hope you enjoy your time carving golf balls!
