Welcome to the RU-vid channel for Whale Watch Kaikoura, New Zealand's multiple award winning marine based whale watching company offering an exciting up-close encounter with Whales in their natural environment at all times of the year!
Did this on a visit to New Zealand. We saw Tiaki the beautiful Sperm Whale. Then back into shallower waters to see the cute Dusky Dolphins. A day I will never forget. Thank you to the amazing crew who took us out. Its a must if you visit these fabulous islands.
We had the team from Explore More NZ visit with us, here is a taste of what they got to see during their whale watching experince. #whalewatching #kaikoura #spermwhales #duskydolphins

Kaikoura is a special place full of rich beauty both on land and out at sea... Here is our new promo video that captures some of that beauty - enjoy! #kaikoura #whalewatching #newzealandtravel #marinelife #southisland #nzmustdo
If you want a whale chaser which was part of the Perano fleet to add to this project, Wellington Classic Yacht Trust can get you one at no cost. Contact us via our website or facebook page: wcyt.org.nz or facebook.com/wgtnclassic. thanks, Gavin Pascoe
Nicely done. And I agree, it's not worth it, regardless how low the risk might be. They say that you should only gamble what you can afford to lose, and we cannot afford to lose what we have at Kaikoura.
@erikkz Thanks for the kind words, glad your time with us is still fresh in your mind. Aroha is a great name - one we will keep in mind for future naming of sperm whales!
Hey Whalewatch! It's been 5 years since I took the tour and it's still one of the highlights of my time spent in NZL. Here's an idea for the unnamed sperm whale, why not name her Aroha? Beautiful name if you ask me.
