I've recently started creating my mid and side signal separately for bass. If the mid signal works on itself the side signal can't really mess with it. I can simply EQ the side signal based on where I want there to be width on the sound. You can even allow some width in the sub frequencies like that without affecting the mono signal.
@@Letsynthesize I understand, but this has become a "let's tackle this asap so I don't get a headache from it later" kind of problem for me. This one was still surprisingly simple considering there was already a finished stereo signal.
@@Letsynthesize I finally switched to Ableton after trying the trial and spending a couple of days making beats. Ableton feels like the Rolls-Royce of DAWs
ctrl +/- zoom in out and ctrl + alt + 0 default to 100% GUI zoom. I find this helpful at times. This wasn't a feature in Live 12.0.5. You can have full height browser now. Also.... UNDO HISTORY!! <3
@@Letsynthesize I noticed a bug perhaps or something is coming up.. Noticed that when You hover mouse on trackname area, You get stretch up/down mousepointer, but it doesn't do anything. To me it was like a remedy of Overview looks size adjustment that was still showing the mousepointer changing even Overview is disabled. Bug or not? who knows.
Having de Noise Fx on the Drum Sampler is the only thing that I like because it does sounds cleaner than using Erosion, but for everything else, I could use simpler all the time and that would've fine. The Limiter looks great, just wish to have more controls for the M/S channels but that may be fixed while they get the feedback. The Saturator is great, found myself using Roar a lot for the bass but might shift to Saturator for that and Roar for a general bus channel , love the Auto Shift cause it offers me a faster way of creating harmonies guides for the singers so they can get an idea of what i'm looking for, way faster than melodyne. The changes on the Piano Roll Filters are basically useless for me, but I can see my students using this a lot as they get more and more accustomed with the interface, have to say that the Midi Transformation Tools Glissando and LFO look very interesting. They are implementing Scale Awareness for audio clips, that will automatically adjust your Auto Pitch to the Scale selected on your project, this make Auto Pitch the first Scale Awareness Audio Effect, look like we could be getting more updates on this subject later. There are a lot of small changes in Echo, Meld and a new Sidechain panel on Envelope Follower. Also in the browser, you can use the old folder system on the Plugins section, in my humble opinion, that's what they should be doing with every section of the browser, the tagging system is so inconvenient that I just refuse to use it but don't have an option to go to the older browser system, wich only gave me 1 last option, hide everything except the "ALL" section and use "Cmd+F" all the time to search for what I need, I hope they give us the option to use the old folder system in the entire browser, seems like the Plugins section could be the start.
