Where I like to make content around movies, especially within the Jurassic Universe, but Marvel,DC,Monsterverse, and Creature Flicks, too. I know my channel is hot slow garbage, but I have a small dream of hitting 10k subs to validate my existence on RU-vid cause they don't wanna monetize me.
Ahhh, idk if he's intentionally misleading by the name of the fish speaking specifically about platinum vs. albino. I've noticed he misidentifies simple fish as guppies, mollies and platies. His id skills isn't very good at all. Most of the axolotls are not axolotls. I just don't think he knows the difference.
@@MrTmabrey I think he's smart enough in some instances, he outright lied about the Axolotls in the drain as TS larvea and I'm pretty sure his buyer explained how the Goonch he bought wasn't a true Platinum unless he was getting scammed.
@jurassicroom7673 they really are awesome. It makes me so sad the way this kid is treating fish, dumping them in all sorts of places and sloshing them through nasty water. I couldn't even imagine treating any fish that way, let alone my pets 😢
My God, the woman on our left appears half asleep, the guy in the middle misses the opening because he keeps playing with his shirt!🙄 Why even bother doing this? Im out of here😡
He was so good-looking and fun loving. In one of his first interviews, I think on Larry King Live, after his accident he answered a question about what happened to him with this (paraphrased) "Some people fall out of a window on the sixth floor and only have a few scratches. Others trip over their shoe laces and have a fatal fall." His and Robin Willams' friendship was everything the definition of friendship should be. That was not the actual footage of his near fatal accident. Apparently he fell straight on the top of his head and his first 2 vertebrae were crushed by the weight of his entire body. Basically his injury could be compared to being decapitated because his skull was no longer attached to (the rest of) his spine, but was only attached to the rest of his body by skin, veins, arteries, muscles and nerves. It's a miracle he survived at all.
Have you seen the movie that just came out called the crow yet it’s very different from the 1994 one but it’s got some good kills in it and there’s some good fights but then there’s th opera house fight that’s later in the movie and it’s on of the best fights I’ve ever seen in a movie with really good katana kills
@@jurassicroom7673 the original is really good the new one is really different from the original and kind of slow paced at the start but then it’s got some cool scenes of people getting killed and some fights but yeah the oprea fight that’s basically like the big showdown is a really good fight and makes the movie worth watching in the theater
@lup7271 Yeah, hopefully, more will, but I'm not sure commenting will help anymore he seems to be cleaning his comment sections a lot more than he used to.
He is pointing out how atrocious this guy is. Being empathetic to the plight of abused animals by shitty content creators isn't being a keyboard warrior. If you're a fan of BFP, you're apart of the problem.
@@jurassicroom7673 ive watched all of Bobby's video. Do you understand the uniqueness of Florida and why so many invasive species are in the waterways? At least he is making entertainment videos for his 2.1 million subs based on what he likes. You dont like him dont watch him! Its simple. There are 6-7 youtubers in Florida with very similar content, so what are they all fake?or just the more popular ones? Cause they all do the same things.
@alanahartwig2628 No, I'm planning to cover them too, and next on the docket is Rob. This isn't a matter of not liking what others find entertaining. These are living animals he's exploiting for whatever reasons and is clearly neglect in many cases. And yes, anyone with any knowledge of Florida and the aquarium hobby can tell they are vastly fake.
here's something funny technical note to say, even in cases of scaly dinosaurs. obviously no offence meant, your mother is a sweet indidual. just thought it would be funny to point out the technicality. that dinosaurs are not even closely related to Lizards. Lizards and snakes belong to a group of reptiles called lepidosauria dinosaurs, pterosaurs and crocodilians all belong to a group called archosauria
A lot of it is real. I’ve caught jags, Mayan, red heads, jewels, peacocks obviously, Oscar’s definitely. BUT a lot of the others no way in hell lol. They aren’t there. Take it from the photo I live in Florida and spent plenty of time scouring the canals and Everglades.
@willhopson1277 Yeah, that's why I didn't show confirmed common invasives and focused on the outlandish catches. But the video isn't totally to dunk on the absurdity of the catches and the gullible followers, it's mainly to expose the conditions he puts these animals through for clout and money.
Generally I'm a regular on reptile-tube, not fish-tube, so when I ran across his videos recently, I had no idea what I was watching. Like my jaw was stuck open. I found a lot of it hard to believe, but it's meant to be addictive content. WHAT WILL HE FIND NEXT. I MUST KNOW, lol. So part of you is ready for some clickbait narration and then you add the MYTH OF WILD FLORIDA, and you let the red flags fly for a few min. I thought maybe I could lend some answers as to why not just dumb people and kids (lol) would fall for these. I'm from Minnesota and our winters get down regularly to 30 below zero, so these exotics would NEVER survive in our waterways. I think if the average Minnesotan saw this, they wouldn't blink an eye because BFP is in FLORIDA. To us, Florida is where all our grandparents move when they can't take the cold anymore. AND the place where there's basically no limit to the exotic animals you might run into. A lot of viral (and Netflix) content has taught non-Floridians to forgo any questioning of this sort of material. Most of these fish/amphibians he "finds" in the abandoned fish pond video might as well be unicorns to the average person - and so they have no context by which to judge this content. For me, even though I have no idea what kind of fish you can keep outside year-round in Florida, some things in this big abandoned pond video really bothered me before I realized it was entirely staged. -Too many single representatives of species (if they're healthy enough to breed, where are the multiples/juveniles? -So you want us to like and subscribe and tell you if you should continue rescuing these poor animals? Like it's contingent on your comments section? -You live in Florida and you don't recognize a ring-neck snake? As someone who only knows even a LITTLE bit about Florida's native snakes, I know about them because they're adorable and easy to ID. Also, if you don't know the species, don't pick it up, dummy. -How in the world are axolotls surviving in that cesspit? Like, I grew up next to a marsh and found salamanders all the time and even as a kid I would have never thought they could live in something like that. -You think it's a gator, but you stuck both your hands in the perfect way to pick up a turtle. Sure. Great plan. I know alligators are pretty tolerant of people, but not THAT tolerant. -WHY ARE THE BUCKETS SO SMALL AND WHY DON'T YOU HAVE MORE. This feels like either rage bait or just a way to keep all the fish in easy view for the camera, but either way it's super annoying. -If you came here to rescue axolotls, why aren't you wearing gloves? Oh, right, you're like 19 years old or something and you don't understand what toxins are or how amphibian skin works. -Are you going to quarantine these fish? No? Ummmm, maybe it's offscreen? I hope? I know I'm rambling, but I just needed to get my thoughts out there because I am SO BOTHERED. I searched for "take-down" videos of BFP after I clicked on a fourth video and saw him conveniently find an "abandoned side of the road pet store tent?" That was in perfect shape (somebody could have just left for lunch) and happened to have the fish he was looking for. After that I had NO doubt that it was fake. The thing is, the algorithm is SO good at selecting recommendations that fit into your conception of the world. For me, I watch herping videos, which once in a while are in abandoned zoos, and so this was kind of similar - the first two videos I watched fell kind of in that vein. But with the third and then the beginning of the fourth video, I got so pissed. Mad at myself that I hadn't called his bluff at the first axolotl. Which . . . how are people arguing with his own claim in most videos that they're . . . er . . . Axolotls? You are like one of three people who have videos posted about this. For a scammer with millions of subscribers. I don't understand. There's a lot of good people in Aquarium Tube, and I'm surprised nobody's taken him down or reported him to larger authorities. Thank you for taking the time to push back at him. Keep going if you feel like you can handle it! Fake rescues are gross enough. But the frigging animal abuse and the urban legend he is creating singlehandedly of exotic animals in every storm drain and birdbath . . . it's disgusting. I suspect that maybe some of the people you talked to who gaslighted you are in a similar headspace about what's possible in Florida? Or they just don't understand why viral content like this can be dangerous. It's also so far from being educational for the kids or adults who watch this. What are they learning about animal care or healthy ecosystems? Nothing. Worse than nothing, they're learning that those things don't actually matter at all.
@mirandabrist9290 Yeah, parents mostly don't think about these things in general, and as I've said before, he kinda falls into the realm of your average hyper tik tok or 3 am challenge videos. Bobby currently is 21-22, and for what I can tell with the space between buying/catching and release is he doesn't quarantine his animals. For me, what makes me angriest is the horrible health of most of the Axolotls in his videos as well as the fish when I have time I am actually going to reach out to FWC this weekend and see what can be done btw you made a lot of good points especially the picking up an Alligator, and yeah it does surprise me that more animal keepers and aquarium hobbyists haven't called him out but hopefully that will change. And Rob's Aquatics is next.
you might want to shorten the intro a bit to keep audience retention. a full minute intro is going to make more people click off of the video before you say a word. Just a quick suggestion, no hostility intended at all. I had been suspicious of the amount of rare fish he would catch, but I never saw many of the videos in this clip. I think he banks mostly on people being ignorant of florida's ecosystem and wildlife. Also, he's always catching "rare" fish in the videos I've seen. One or two would be believable. 5 per video is unrealistic and over the top. Great video, very informational.
@Lenny-fy5yp Yes, and he regularly uses the same animals like the Pac Man Catfish and the Mata Mata Turtles. Or more precisely he places them in the net and pretends to catch them.
I Immediately unsubscribed to him after watching your videos, I like a lot of people, was duped into believing he was actually being truthful. I am not a child, but like to see the best in people. After watching your videos, I went and watched Soda Pets (who I have been subbed to for a while) and was so disgusted by him and what he does that I will never watch his videos again.
@tracyhoyt3916 Thank you, and yes, it's hard to say Bobby's a bad guy when he has such an energetic personality that could be very helpful in teaching his community about animals.
Bro is reasonably mad at Bobby for animal abuse, then brushes off the fact that he housed unsuitable animals together to the point where the stronger ripped the other into pieces, in which they ate...
@JEBaganha The catfish lived with my snapper for 2 years and was bigger than the two turtles my fiance brought from her house. They were fine for 2 days cause they had lots of wood and hiding places. I wouldn't have kept them together if everything didn't seem fine he was a large Bullhead I had for 4 years.
@JEBaganha Yeah, it shocked me and my fiance cause they were completely fine for awhile. They are just two yellow belly sliders so I didn't think they'd do anything. Especially with the amount of shrimp they eat.
@@jurassicroom7673 To be fair, while writing this I have a tank behind me with two red bellied sliders, and a pleco... Their chill as hell with each other... Huh..
I saw this for the first time yesterday when my 9yo son was watching, were big time aquarium hobbyists and once i explained what he was finding my son realised that not only was it all fake but how cruel it was mixing them all up in a 'sewer' bare in mind pulled out, synos, cane toad's, snakes, birchir, acara turtles was an absolute abomination
@HalloweenTownTime I did. However, I only covered the swamp eels. Technically, he isn't breaking the law by releasing invasives back into the body of water they're found. As much as I disagree with them not being destroyed.
Thank you for calling this out i always had my doubts how every time he went somewhere he would ALWAYS find extremely rare fish. He definitely needs to be better and start truly caring for his animals. thank you again
So this is a reaction me and Mom did a week ago to the Salamander pond video and we go over a lot of points to his actions. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c7Ga7gwkNJI.htmlsi=tevNK9vPOIYzTf-r
Have you seen robs aquatics? Hes WAY worse and absolutely disgusting. Never aclimating. "Finding fish in dumpsters" that he either put there and if he didnt they definitely got ammonia burns Also theres no way fish are surviving in bags in a hot af dumpster. Very simular to bass fishing productions
@JessieIzBeast He kinda went quiet for a minute, and I thought he was maturing, so I focused on BfP for a single video, but when I checked Robs channel recently, he's officially back on my radar. That's why when I brought up their past relationship, I added the "here we go again" meme. Also, I'd say l they're both equally bad.
@HelenaLira-u8n Except in the instances Soda Pets and I showed, these are clearly staged. Otherwise, why did Bobby delete them? (Aside from the Betta situation) But for some reason, Rob is still making dumpster diving videos.
