@@Jeremy-c1m lol! Using your 4 in 1 to load a dump truck at first is a great way to lopsided load and send trucks off not full. Fantastic comment from an absolute tool that obviously has zero clue, or zero self awareness of the fact he's actually not an operator, but a fool in a seat. Hahaha
Great questions and answers. I looked it up, a kit like that is around $2500. There`s also pocket penetrometers for $50, pen size tool you push in 1/4" to get a reading.
Thanks, I’m an equipment apprentice and I have my first production work tomorrow and it’s pretty extensive truck loading with a skid steer. I was hoping there would be a tutorial to give me some advice.
@@ExcavationNation Thanks for the advice, everything went well, loaded 19 trucks. One driver said I have a good eye, another bought me a Fanta from the food truck so I must have done well. Kept the working area nice and clean between trucks, too.
Tbh they're definitely not the meta. But for the price they are OK. But they're not a "luxury" brand If I had unlimited money I'd have my entire fleet John Deere. Far superior. Second choice would be CAT. I love my 289d and 308. This issue is just like everything else right now the prices have become insane. We bought our 308 in 2021 it's 2018 model and paid under 70k with 800 hrs. A used 2022 308 now Is over 150k.
Normally around 1200 to 2000 in my area This is all dependent on how in depth the engineers proposed details are for a proper install. And make sure you document every step so if it fails you can go back on the engineer firm that gave you a solution.
you telling me that buried clearing debris (like pines, scrub oaks and saw palmettos) does not just decompose into organic soil? I have evidence that it does in sandy Mid-Florida
Of course it does brother just push the stick all the way down 💪 until it clicks. Do it with the machine off so you can get the feeling of it. And REMEMBER to be careful to not accidentally push it down for example you're balancing with your blade
@@seijirou302 what will happen if your let's so using the blade to raise yourself up to level out. If you accidentally engage float mode it will be very very scary and possibly dangerous as the blade gives out.
Thanks man , Run so many different types of machines Would of taken me a while to figure this out on my own , If The world was a perfect place there wouldnt be an Option for backhoe mode on a Excavator 😂 lol
