The problem with RU-vid - just when you think you have narrowed all the boats you like down to the perfect one, your feed goes and shows you this and throws everything out the window. A very, very nice boat. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the cold temperature of the lighting in the sleeping cabins, but I'm sure that is easily changed.

Wow! Just incredible. Not only beautiful with gorgeous material and design but technically just as impressive. The engine room is out of this world. This is a dream boat that makes you wonder if you really need a catamaran. French flair with long solid proven track record for advanced and reliable technology. The perfect blue-water 50 footer outclassing every other brand. By far.
Ridiculously expensive BUT what to expect for the best blue water yacht bar none ....if I had to choose between the Amel 50 and the new Hylas 57 I would have to lie down in a dark room for a week
I only have one concern to encourage you to improve. Better keeling of the mast and headsails. So that the lateral resistance is ahead of the sails and increasing to the bow/stem . The stem keeling the headsails and rudder .. pure academic keeling of a sailboat ⛵.

I do not understand why other manufacturers who do not plagiarize the outstanding safety and operational features of the Amel. All offshore boats boats should have a hard dodger and Bimini to protect the helm station! It is stupid to put dual helm stations on anything smaller than a 60 -70? footer. It is ridiculous to put the helm station in a weather exposed position. Solid handrails. Yay! On the other hand, style wise, I am not fond of the interior white vinyl/plastic hotel room decor. When I am on a yacht, I want it to look like a yacht with warm wood, rounded corners and abundant hand holds, not something that looks like a downtown motel room. Thankfully in this boat, Amel didn't go with the all too common blond wood, pointy cornered, Scan Design crap that so many European builders are using.
Why don't you order it without a watermaker, and without airconditioning, and while you are at it, who needs a washing machine. It is very useful, how many times I had to dive down to check the prop, fishing net etc.
Cool boat but nothing to do other than get fat . I see lots of fat Americans sailing these . Lots of shit to break down . Sailing is about engaging with your yacht. Even though it’s a beautiful yacht I wouldn’t buy one .
