I had to destroy two saves and restart each time at start now i am just testing different orgins and ethics after which I aill make my first custom build (might be trash or decent)
Level 10 forts work but building them is a bad idea because the AI is programmed not to attack them. It's better to stack entrenchment, you can get up to a very high level with good divisions + general traits + high command and all of your divisions will have, like, 1600 defence on whatever tile you're on.
I'm using better mechanic AI mods and let me tell you they are doing way better. Level 10 fort is a challenge bit since they use CAS and 30 width yank divs woth decent design, they are able to do something.
You'll get into it, bro, don't worry. I don't know how much experience you have, but big countries like USSR might be a little overwhelming for beginners. I would start with a minor country that noone cares about so you can learn the basic game mechanics without pressure.
Too expensive for meat shield, you can get some troopers instead. Grav bikes are fun to use, but only when you max them out imho. That's why I barely used them. They are also hard to hit for the enemies. A grav bike only playtrough would probably be fun.
@@yusundur I never used them Because they become useful far too late. supposedly they have evasion as good as seeker bombs so could be used as decoys to waste enemy overwatch.
I have 19 hours in this game. Still on my first game. I've found it to be fairly simple. I mean, I'm still learning. But from what I've learned so far it ain't that bad.
I'm 1215 hours in at this point, but you're not wrong that Stellaris takes some effort to learn. But it is still by far the most accessible of Paradox' Grand Strategy games. 😊
Well, with the new leader mechanics, it really got complicated. But generally, playing for few weeks should give you enough time to understand the game. Not all of course, like how efficient planet automatization is, how there are different damage types based on weapons you put on your ships And so on......
@@shapef1189 we usually play on the server "harmony empires" which is located in western europe afaik. But players are from all over the world. Mainly USA and european countries. But sometimes there are people from brasil or japan for example. When you join you will automatically be directed to the server with players so you don't need to worry about that :)
