This company mustcdevelop Gyrocooters for passenger commercial flights too which must have air-conditioning & toilet .As Gyroooters requure very small runways and land vertically , these aircrafts must be used for flying passengers to DANGEROUS airports. The Lukla airport in Nepal is among the most dangerous airports in the world where crashes are common and Gurocooters must be introduced there immediately. Even Thimpu airport in the kingdom of Bhutan is a very dangerous one too . I would like to understand as to why turbulence cannot affect Gyrocooters . What is the maximum height a Gyrocooter can climb up to ?
Excellent, learnt this way over 30 years ago. Still best way to learn in a gyro particularly a light weight gyro can't get as close to light stick feel as a gyroglider. A lot less take off incidences would happen if people learned to wind up rotors in a dual gyroglider by hand first. Never saw anyone flapping blades at our club it wasn't until latter that blokes who had had to teach themselves that I saw lots of that. They all had pre-rotators but often would still get into blade flap. Of course most machines are too tall or enclosed to hand wind rotors but there was a lot to be learned in the simple and cheap machines. Its a great pity there are not many clubs still operating them so much experience you can get in a glider at next to no cost. We threw the baby out with the bath water. We should be keeping the old glider and adding the two seat powered instruction on top of it. Just my opinion.
Beautiful craft. Only real issue I have with it is lack of cargo space for a 2 person weekend trip- just room for a duffel with clothes for several day trip.
Despite the challenges of 2020 I managed to log 98 hours on my Magni M16 Plus bringing the total to just over 200 completely trouble free and enjoyable hours. Congratulations Magni Family and best of luck in 2021!
Notice they don't show much of the stick(s) and they don't provide naked cockpit audio whilst flying because doing so would reveal that it regardless how much you spend on a gyrocopter you are going to regret it due to the vibration issue. The old standard rule applies here: If you float it, fly it, or fuck it....rent it.
What a dumb-arse, ignorant statement. At 1.51 you will see a 2/rev stick shake which looks reasonable to me. I like everything about it, except the price.
It is highly commendable how the M24 is being used for wildlife conservation ... hats off to Keith. Here in the Caribbean we are looking at the M24 as the ideal platform for post disaster aerial reconnaissance and for the deployment of emergency communications (Emcoms) personnel, aerial SAR for accidents at sea in coastal areas and most importantly for training exercises involving amateur radio (Ham) operators. To be more effective it will always be necessary to fly in groups of three, (five being the ideal) so that you can cover a wider search area in a shorter space of time. The same can be said for wildlife conservation. The M24 is really a vision in reality ... VM must be proud of this achievement ... a dream come true ! Love the m24, just wondering what the immediate actions are when the engine stops low level over water, no immersion suits or life jackets. As someone who spends a lot of time over the water, a nice orange cotton flight suit won’t help much without the ability to make it to land. If they had to ditch can the doors be released from the top hinge? I’d stay closer to shore and always have an escape plan if it all goes quiet with a single engine. Great aircraft, dubious airmanship.
