A little about me - My name is Arnecia and I moved to Dallas, Texas after graduating from my dream college, Auburn University (War Eagle!). I have worked in Human Resources for over 5 years and recently quit my 9-5 work from home job this year to create a happier lifestyle for myself and figure out what's next in my career! I'd love if you subscribed and joined the journey as I navigate this new journey of mine!
Wild how women fought so hard to get to work jobs like the men yet find themselves crying and then quitting. You don't make big boy money while having a great time in most cases...
girl this is exactly what i went through with my first full-time job out of college (calling my mom and all). i’m happy you were able to make this decision for yourself and heal from those experiences :)
@@asadb1990 I’m from the era where we were taught that if you work hard enough, you’d get some sort of reward later- play the long game. I just finally woke up in the last year and realized that the “reward” isn’t worth my life or sanity.
This video really makes me emotional because I hate you had to go through that! But I know that was apart of Gods journey for you. I’m so happy that you’re happy and thriving in this new era! You deserve all the happiness and we are here to support you! Can’t wait to hear the announcement 💕🫶🏽
You were trapped behind enemies' lines. You were forced out because you were a non tribe member and not a part of the informal company management network. African Americans can't succeed in corporate America without a mentor/ career advocate. All the best to you with your next chapter.
This. This right here is where I find a lot of us as black women find ourselves as we are bullied in the workplace, given little to no support, and expected to do it all. I really hate this for us deeply and there's no one advocating for black women in the workplace. This behavior should be illegal. I really want to start creating SAFE workplaces for black women to connect and work together. This ish has been going on for generations and it has to stop. Even more frustrating is the impact financially, mentally and emotionally that isn't being considered as well. Thank you for sharing your story.
I had a very similar experience with workplace bullying and it was very overwhelming for me as well. I do not think it’s discussed enough the amount of bizarre bullying black women face in workspaces.
def. proud of you to step out on faith and do what you need to esp taking it to God first i cant start to stay how you warm my heart i pray you get everything you want and need to make you happy blessings!!!! ill always be here supporting you!!!
Im glad to finally come across a video from that night, thanks for sharing❣️It was my first Chris Brown concert and I was alone as well. It was an amazing show. I was in section 125 to your left at corner of the stage. Babyyyy let me tell you Those bangs was banging and those flames was definitely flaming, thought I had lost my hearing for a second and Im glad I wasn't on the side of the stage cause babyyyyyy😂. Lawwwwd Being so close to him was so cool and having him actually look into my eyes, Girllll you would have thought I was a teenager all over again🤣🤣🤣. Will definitely be attending his shows more often. #TEAMBREEZY❤️💪🏾
Omg! Had me ducking and dodging, the bangs were so loud 😂 I could feel the heat from the flames & I all I could think was how in the world is he up there singing and dancing! It was a great show for sure!❤️
Congrats on new journey!! I completely understand how challenging it is to work full-time while also creating content. I would love to watch a video on your new work schedule and how you intend to keep organized. Just subbed💖
I totally understand the mental strain. I felt the same when I was a Training Specialist, it got harder and harder trying to force a smile during trainings. The company I was with didn't help. I also felt bad because I finally landed a "corporate" job that paid well with no degree. I don't regret it... However, if you decide to go back into recruiting, perhaps consider Tech Recruiting since you are in Dallas.
this is my first time coming across one of your videos & i’m excited for you. ❤️ i’m going through almost the same exact thing rn. i quit my job about 2 weeks ago & i had all of thoughts and feelings u did. i felt like i was dumb and emotional for quitting my job when so many people are struggling to make it & i didnt have a new job lined up. my job was making me miserable. i noticed i dreaded going into work every day, i had a headaches every day & i was extremely irrigable. nearly everyone i knew toñd me not to quit but my job but i did it anyway because i knew i wasn’t doing something that i genuinely enjoyed. im happy i quit my job. i wouldnt change a thing. i have faith knowing that there is something better in store for me and it wont happen immediately but God/ the universe will definitely bless me when im ready. keep making videos & follow your heart, we’re rooting for you.
I was a an RC for a few years and girl I understand the stress of the role. Now I’m a people business partner. What was I thinking lol 😵💫 wishing you all the best ❤
Omg I’m going through the same thing, I quit my job last week as a preschool teacher on faith… my story is similar to yours but I stay in Houston with no family and I’m from Mississippi… I definitely see why going back home isn’t the best option, but I definitely would say stay close to God and let him order your steps because it is greater on the other side and you know that because he have done it before, he can do it again! Awesome blessings are coming your way, stay focused, proud of you!
