Yasss 🤩 thank you for a CRISPY protein waffle recipe, finally! I’ve been on the hunt for a good one. The ones I’ve found SEEMED good, except the finished product looked soft and floppy. Sorry, a waffle without crisp is just a pancake with tread 🤷🏻♀️
Would you recommend an Epilator for men's facial hair? My 16 yr old son wants to remove the hair from his face this way instead of shaving but I'm not sure about it.
That's a very bad idea usually for mens facial hair. It will hurt a lot more, the hair is denser and and son is much more sensitive and soft. Shaving is usually the only way to remove facial hair. Unless you want to go for more permanent options like electrolysis or lasers.....
Tried the myprotein one and then watched this video. I really didn't like it so much. It leaves a thicc layer in the inside of your mouth and is too thick for me.
Not that I know of! I’ve had to buy a couple of whole units used just to knick the dip bars and sell the rest on again. If you find some, let me know, I still need two pairs!
Had some hesitation on trying epilation, looked up a few unhelpful guides, until this video blew it out of the water. Extremely clear, helpful and concise instructions that goes into every aspect. No videos before this ever mentioned helpful motions like pulling the skin tight or exactly why you shouldn't use moisturizer, and nothing gave us much information on upkeep either. Every previous video said 2-3 weeks, but now I'm actually prepared for doing it more frequently for better results, easier process with better aftercare now that I understand the importance of more regular exfoliation. I can't overstate this enough, absolutely fantastic video with high quality information and presentation. The most helpful 10 minutes of my time I could have asked for. Thank you for posting this!
I'm curious how these compare to professional hot wax! You could get talcum powder for wax to stick less to the skin, expert wax-pulling skill, and something against irritation
I’m not prone to ingrown hairs through shaving, waxing (or even tweezing individual hairs!), but the epilator destroyed my skin when I used it on my arms several years ago. I was loving the results at first, but then I started to notice my hairs were growing in a strange way I had never seen before. I could see each hair clearly through the surface of my skin growing parallel to my arms. I had to go to a dermatologist to get them extracted safely. My arms looked like a pizza for a year, and it took another couple of years for the hyperpigmentation to completely heal. I wore long sleeves for 3 summers in a row. I think the reason for this happening is that the fast circular motion of the epilator may alter the growth direction of some of the hair follicles as it pulls them out. I have spoken to a few people who had the same experience as me. You may be one of the lucky ones like the guy in this video. Personally, I wouldn’t take a chance!
This happened to me when I did my legs. Literally every single hair became ingrown. That was many years ago and now I'm trying again for my armpits with Tend Skin. Hope it's better but I'm ready to return the device if it's not
Its embarrassing how insecure the maker of this video and the people in these comments are. „Epilation FOR MEN“ (there’s no difference in how epilating works for any gender) and „A guide thats NOT WEIRD“. This is already weird. I have yet to see one epilation guide that’s „weird“. This is embarrassing. Don’t worry, your balls won’t fall off if you watch an epilation video that doesn’t say „for men“!!!!!
In this case there is a difference - the maker of this video has chosen to epilate his chest which is very different to legs/underarm etc. People who are born female (whether they present that way now or not) would unlikely be using an epilator there. It’s just not that deep 😊
@@AmyI12 i see your point and appreciate your nice(?) comment and to be fair I didn’t even bother watching because the title and thumbnail already weirded me out. I still don’t think there is a difference regardless of whether a person has developed breasts or not. In both cases it’s sensitive skin. You just need to try out if epilating that area works for you or not. Leave out the nipples and pluck those hairs by hand. But oh well
Great video man thanks for it, helped alot i think ill get a squatt rack pull up stand cuz i want rings to hang from it and this video answered it for me fhat it wouldnt be possible on these 😂
Thanks for the video! I have 2 questions. 1) can I use it on my face so I don’t have to shave as much? 2) can I use it thin hair on some areas of my body or does it grow back patchy? Thanks
In my opinion, if you want to become proficient in a lift, you have to consider different variations of the lift itself and the angles, positions at which you move. For example, you don't have to be an incredible deadlifter, just think a little past your program. For example, I suggesting looking at lifts like; Deficit deadlift, Snatch Deadlifts, Rack Pulls. If you're really brave, Snatch Deficit. All these variations can be used as tools to improve parts of the lift that you feel you're lacking on. Be that speed, power, balance etc. My other suggestion for someone who describes themselves as not an incredible deadlifter, change your hand position. When you use over/under you're going to generate torque when you pick up the bar. This is gonna turn the bar in an angular motion, which you'll spend a lot of energy and effort correcting as you do your lift. It can also lead to tears in the bicep at maximal load, just something to look out for. I would suggest learning hook grip, double overhand without straps if performing only deadlifts, or with straps to reduce fatigue on grip when doing long programs. All that being said your form looks good and congrats on the progress you've made so far :)
I just did this for the first time. Epilated my hands and was about to epilate my belly. The hair was so thick, I was only able to to a little strip before I had to quit out of the pain. Some pores were even bleeding. I do hope it's only the first time and next week, it's going to be less painful.
How has your experience been so far? I'm doing it rn to my belly area and can relate, it really is damn painful and taking two Paracetamols like the guy advised didn't help a single bit. I too have noticed like two or three pores bleeding and I'm not even halfway through. I have epilated my hands before and it was honestly not that bad probably because they barely have any fat. Part of me feels like I should try a IPL machine but I'm so concerned over cancer risks. I've done it before on my arms and noticed new moles appearing. I did get checked by a derm with his weird mole scanning device and he said there are no signs of skin cancer, but at the same time I once felt kinda dizzy, sleepy and could barely eat anything for two days straight, so I'm not 100% sold that there's nothing to worry about. Since I have whte skin with dark hair which is perfect for ipl/laser treatment, I will probably consult another derm and try it out again with his approval, because this epilation shit hurts like crazy on the body.
@@sleepenjoyer-on2dr I switched to IPL. It was too painful for me. I've read through a few papers and there is no risk of cancer of any kind. It's been used heavily in dermatology, but the long term effects are poorly unknown. The thing with IPL is that it takes a long time and a couple of sessions to see any changes. I have tried it a few times already, but I don't see much. I'll just keep going as I've heard hair laser removal is super painful.
09:13 feels like it needs clarification. Don't go _immediately_ after hernia surgery. It's fine when recovered. I remember asking my surgeon if I could carry on lifting heavy and he said, "Of course. If you can't do what you want what's the point of a good repair?" That was a bi-lateral repair when I was ~39 and now I'm 52 and stlll DL 200kg+ and it's held up just _fine_. I'd hate someone to think a hernia repair means the end of DLing.
