The city this home is located in should take over this place and restore it or at least get some people in there who can salvage the antique’s . So sad when someone dies and no one is left to resume the legacy of the family. Truly beautiful place . Allot of interesting architectural details. You can almost imagine what it would of been like when this home was occupied and was the bustling home of a business. Was the later part of the video the other home on the property which you thought you could not get into ? So beautiful wish you would of gone up the staircase though .

Wow, a chapel in a house, so intriguing!

I wish they still built houses with this level of craftmanship.

When you go from one room to the next there is a kind of wood-clad tunnel because the walls are so thick, and a beautiful door frame on both sides.

There is so much gorgeous woodwork and fittings, but imagine trying to put it back to how it was originally...this just shows that the massive wealth of that times was more than any one human can really use...they are all totally over-the-top in grandeur, they make me feel quite nauseous ....altho I would love to see this used for something good, apart from being a museum I do not see how ! A cozy cottage seems so much more welcoming !

Si c'est ce à quoi je pense, il a été transformé en hôtel de luxe il y a déjà un moment, fermé, abandonné et à vendre maintenant...on ne voit pas les environs ni le parc....

Hi Linda, oh what a lovely house. The courtains at the doorways, the architecture inside (like the bows on 0:38min) or the door painting. I really like the old small wagon with the big wheels in the cellar. And again a very good music-selection for the background. Thanks for sharing. atb Steff
