That is a cub cadet, in fact, this is an MTD type product. Even Troy Bilt, Craftsman, Bolens, cub cadet are all by MTD, which is now a piece of shit company. My mom had an MTD riding lawnmower years ago, and it was a decent machine. MTD has gone downhill, especially when it comes to production of mowers, string trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, etc. I will never buy a four cycle weedeater. I had a four cycle toy built it for a year, and it got replaced by a STIHL. If you want a quality trimmer nowadays, buy a Husqvarna, Echo or Stihl.
Thats the simple part,no one on you tube has done an install of the suspension properly,or two "lummoxes" on the floor wrestling those two middle small wheel idlers screws with the shock tension on.everyone can take stuff apart, but putting it back is the challenge.those two control arm bolts, disconnect for the shock end both sides, ratchet strap compress the rear shock with the small wheel idler bracket ,wrestle and install it.By your self its easier putting sled on its clutch side.takes most of the weight of the skid to do it alone.its a bitch. Dudes and the manual that say reverse the take off procedure are buffoons.Ive done it a few times alone and it works well.becareful when it drops your fingers arent in the way, believe it crushes your fingers.
7:05 My fuel pumps on both of my mowers are in a different location than on the carb. Do I need to buy another fuel pump to install on the carb and take the one on the firewall off? It just looks weird with nothing on the carb side, but I couldn't find any entrance holes on the side of the carb for it anyways. Mine just looks like 12:38
did the jackshaft bearing on a phazer (2007). it was not as easy as the driveshaft one I just did on the nytro, but oddly enough was the same bearing. I went OEM on the phazer jackshaft original was NSK.
What a waste of my time. Ten minutes in and your just taking out the screws. I don't care about steering slop. I don't care about main jet. 16 mm socket? Really? You think there is something metric on that 20 plus year old engine? Think again. And use a socket or nut driver on those three screws on the air cleaner. And at 13 minutes your talking about I don't know where the springs go.
Ok so find a different video ass hole you don't have to be a shit head, plus I did show where the springs go and also yes metric absolutely works on that motor.
@Ol'Jarhead when I first wanted to take this out there weren't any videos on it period so I just wanted people to have a video to refer to for the removal...I say go for it make a video on the install...hell maybe I'll lean a tip from you...
my spare bearings from my 03 sx viper fit just right on my 03 rx1. I enjoy how compatible yamahas parts are, knowing they must have done something right to keep the bearings the same from rig to rig. currently making my own rs vector gt but installed a rx1 engine. lotta good work, but surprisingly everything is bolting on as intended. sweet rig you got there buddy, hope you're having a swell winter. ✌️ just subbed! cheers from Alaska
Been there, done that. The exhaust is a pain too. I did the exhaust repair from FX Garage works. It takes a bit of fit and finish but we'll worth it, do it once and done!!!
Motor or mower? Because I have no idea what the motor model number is. There isint a tag any where on my engine so if I were you, I'd just search your engine brand, horsepower, and if you have a guess year
It just saves the hassle of not being able to see the level and I wasn't able to order a new one with the correct gauge. And I completely restored mine and this was am experiment. Thanks for the comment!!
@@gmachine8478 the older machines were definitely a lot easier to fix than the new ones people buy from Walmart, Lowes, Rural King, Tractor Supply or Home Depot.
@@gmachine8478 the older ryobis were awesome (and better) machines compared to the newest ryobi’s at the Home Depot. One good thing is that back in up to the 90s, no matter what brand, it was made better than today’s equipment. I might fall back to the Stihl KM 85R pro series when my FS94R goes up because I had mine serviced twice (every three years)
The color I used isint a very close match...check out the murray restoration Playlist for the correct paint because I found it then did another repaint
Thank you, I have tried a couple of different ones and this one is the best...one of the other ones the music was somehow copyrighted so that intro won't be used again.
