Honestly I want the same set as you Not that I want fly up and down the street I just want the power just in case Also I run strokes now so I’m definitely looking for a new more reliable toy
I got a question. how were u able to put the disc brake's rotor on the other side of the wheel. im about to get a bigger sproket for my chopper bike 51t so the disc brake wont work there anymore. did you fabricated it? please show me how you do it.
hey how are you doing the hubs i have are custom cnc here is a link to some good hubs mbrebel.com/product/gemini-sealed-bearing-motorized-bike-hub/ if you know a good machinist you can get them made yourself.......
Mann that’s such an awesome build! I’m going to try and build one in time for Burningman in august. Would you mind if I pick your brain a bit? Id appreciate it a bunch
Where did you get your Vancouver at? I'm pissed Micargi re-marketed the "Seattle" as the new "Vancouver" He got rid of the White paint job for Grey? I think he kicked up the price on his bikes too.. Used to be able to get them at Walmart for $500. What did yours cost? I can only find online dealers so I want to try to find a local dealer who isnt selling these bikes for $800.
@@ChristopherJones16 I got it from bikeberry lol mine was priced at 649 because it was supposed to come with disc brakes and a 7 spd gear setup and the wheels 26x3s but they sent me the a single speed version with 26x4s and the wrong shade of color too but instead of sending it back bc it was fine with me so long as I got a partial refund and so I spent 562 on it plus the engine was 600 too. I didn't want to go thru the return process and wait for another one lol even tho I been pretty lazy and taking my time turning wrench here and there until summertime but it is almost complete. This summer I might make a video, mine almost looks like yours lol I think your's is the nicest I've seen so far tbh
@@coincollectorchase lucky you. If you’re putting a motor on it the pedal gears probably won’t get much use so having just one gear isn’t a loss. The disc brakes though is., but you can add those on yourself. I’d prefer the 4” tires over the 3”. I don’t have a bike yet. Im they were out of stock everywhere because of the covid fiasco and now only a handful of shops have the bikes. How long did it take to ship to you from bike berry? Do you remember where it shipped from. I’m curious if bikeberry has a storage facility somewhere else than where they say their business is located. If you’re looking for custom forks there’s a Polish guy on RU-vid who makes some awesome ones who closed up his business but he’s still selling what’s left on inventory he’s a nice guy. Covid hurt his business so I’m trying to spread word to help him out. I hope he reopens it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x8PRWE8x_lU.html
@@ChristopherJones16 yeah lol seems this bike works out better anyway, I got mine during the pandemic and it took like 5 days to get to me and idr from where tho but I am looking for bent springer forks lol It sucks that happened to you I hope you can find one at a good price
@@m0ej0e70 thanks, I was hoping that was the one, I just ordered one and I am going to get the mounting bracket and everything I need from ghetto bike. I am going with a predator 212 ungovern. Thanks
Did you add the new rear sprocket to the Micargi Seattle SS existing rims or were the rims purchased separately with the sprocket already installed? Just wondering if adding the sprocket and disk brakes is tedious or not.
@@m0ej0e70 are those the factory Micargi 4” rims? Iirc you said you bought a thicker gauge spokes and the custom made hubs from ghettobikes. Just wondering if the hub is all I need or will I want different rims than the factory rims. I do want 10 gauge spokes on mine but if I can save money by not having to buy aftermarket rims…
the silver canister is my crankcase breather you want to have a negative pressure in your crankcase also i prefer the jackshaft over the torque converter because i dont have to worry about belts popping and im 300 lbs and go up hills fine
@@m0ej0e70 I was surprised to see you rip up hills like that with a clutch. Has to be a good racing clutch right? Looks like the Bully Racing Clutch. What size sprockets you using if you dont mind me asking? I'd love to build your exact bike man.. i'm in love with it. Also post more videos of this bad boy... I cant get enough. I re-watch this video over and over again to experience vicariously what its like when I get mine built.
Hey man, great job on the bobber! It's sick👍 Curious, are you on the motorized bike forums? Id love to check out a build log or more pics! Also what is your fork setup? Id like to replicate the look. Thanks !
It’s custom rim I bought from Ghettobike.com it’s a micargi beach cruiser rim with 11 gauge spokes and custom hub I’m 300lbs and they hold up great and the bikes top speed is 70mph
I am interested with what you did here and it’s nice that we’re pretty close, considering I’m certain that this is in Connecticut. Is it possible to put the engine on other bike frames? Is there any power or road problems that the wheels (the rims) can’t handle?
yes you have to upgrade your spokes to 12 gauge or 10 to be safe . i have 3 inch fat bike rims with 12 gauge spokes and they have been fine so far .....
Hallo from Germany i habe a Frame Form Lunacycle in El Secundo L.A( The Cargo Rhino) and i look for a strong motor for Bild in.What do you think aboout the Cyc x..it is not a chap system...is it worth hat?..Nice Girl in the beginning of your Video:-)
the cyc x1 pro is a great system but they still need to work on the control system but other than that its very powerful and has lots of torque and is very fast......
