Maybe now Ibanez will pay attention to this guy and concieve a signature model. Because his dedication to them is highly impressive and that's without direct sponsorship/endorsment. Even Jari played a Jackson and a Tele before Ibanez got him.
Marty 1 - Kiko is damn good and for a while when he first joined Megadeth I was of a split mind of who I thought was the better guitarist overall and in truth I still am of split mind. Same age old battle of choice and argument though EVH or R.R?
It's Matry's solo so doesn't make sense to me to compare. But of all three I like Kiko the most, he is a maestro (much bigger than Megadeth and all of its guitarists).
I don’t think Chris gets enough love and appreciation at all. He was the guitarist when I got into Megadeth and I Shay’s thought his presence was bold. He’ll always be favorite along with Marty. 🤷🏻♂️
Reaction videos is why nobody cares about your opinion. Nobody can sound the band you have a hard on for? Led Zeppelin will be dead and gone one day. The band not the music. You dishonor them and anyone who took any influence from them.
Nerves get the better of anyone when you're playing for one of the biggest Metal bands for the first time. Teemu did a grand job - I just felt his sound tech need to make his solo sound a bit more punchy. All are great in my opinion and bring something different... but I grew up listening to Marty, so I will always be bias and pick him.
It would sound better with the volume up higher. It’s really better to listen to the song on its own merits, without the continual comparison to Led Zeppelin.
Greta Van Fleet STILL gives me goosebumps. This song does it for me every time! My daughter and I have bonded over this band and we have seem them together THREE TIMES already. Two of those times were one year after the other. I had managed to get in touch with their manager and they sent her for her birthday an autographed tee shirt signed by all the guys! 🤘😎🤘
Personal favorite: 1- Marty Friedman 2023 (when i play it live i always do his new version of the solo) 2- Marty Friedman 92 3- Teemu Mantysaari (Just like Dave Mustaine said, his playing is like an Mad Guitar Scientist, he almost sound like Marty Friedman if Marty was a 30 years younger) 4- Kiko Loureiro (Kiko is literally the guitar icon from my Country, everyone in Brazil wanna be like him and his version of Tornado is awesome too) 5- Glen Drover (his version is awesome too, some new phrases that fit well, some that not, but awesome version)
Its ok if your jealous a little bub. There will never be another led Zeppelin we get it. They inspired and continue to inspire but there comes a point where when you say it for the hundreth time and you say it over and over on every song. You start to take away from what they have accomplished.. also they state they were influenced by zeppelin and many other bands but they wanted to be recognized for greta van fleet not a cover band which they are not and which is why you continuously stating they sound like them is overplayed there on there 3rd studio album. There a grammy award winning band stop with the zepplin shit let ppl enjoy the music and let them have there much deseved time in the spotlight.
This song Is pretty clear and obviously about a dog getting out of the pound and meeting his or her master for the first time It only fits perfectly. Think about a dog ready to give his love..
Play it back and imagine a dog getting picked from the pound, while you listen to this song. it fits perfectly and is beautiful. intertwined. with that narrative.
This concert, to me, is just pure serotonin. Whenever life gets too much I watch it and at the end, the only thing I’m sad about is the fact that I can’t go back in time to be there myself, and especially the fact that I can’t share it with my dad. He would’ve absolutely LOVED them.
I recon if you had seen their goofy SNL performance of this one I think you’d love it more. They’re so into it you have no choice but to get into it yourself ❤️
Safari Song was the song that popped my GVF cherry and I honestly loved it BECAUSE of the lyrics (as well as the music). As a woman it was so refreshing to hear a real rock n roll song that’s respectful of women.

I love that Jake sometimes sound like Page, because I love Page. In My Way, Soon he sounds like Graham Coxon and I love that too. If you think about how young he is we are watching him evolve into a guitarist in his own right.
Sad but true, no one will ever play a song, especially a guitar solo better than the original composer/player no matter how the original composer/player choses to alter it in live performances. It's just his creation, he can play it however he feels, however he likes.
