Thank you for the tutorial man! I was able to merge a few mods together but how do you fix conflicting mods? I’m trying to use Elden Katana and Convergence together. But it messes / conflicts with the convergence spells. How would you fix it?
when i start a project, nothing shows as modified, i can copy the bin right from the mod folder into the game folder and it still shows nothing is modified. I tried just doing it normally with my game set up how it is and the .bin in the modengine2 folder first and that didnt show any modified params either. i just need to export this stupid csv so i can merge these files but smithbox cannot find a single modified line in a mod with tons of them.
I never comment on videos. However, this video is the gold standard for a tutorial. It's a shame some of the best creators aren't actually creators and don't upload often.
@@Rodniikun man i have the same problem, i checked the documents, the game folder, my mod folder, windows folder is nowhere, is there a way to find it?
*FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN'T LISTEN TO THE AUDIO IN FMODEL* Extract the zip file that is inside of FModel\Output\.data all the contents inside the zip file should now be inside .data
which project directory is the base folder in? is is just the .bin in your game directory or do you place the .bin in your game directory into the mod folder or what
To all people looking to merge regulation.bin info between different mods, this is the tutorial you were searching for. Confirming this works as of patch 1.12.3 (post dlc) with Smithbox- I just used this mod to merge carian combo warriors and map for goblins. Don't overthink it, just follow the steps in the video. And be sure to make backup files just in case you mess up
@@AugustusGray I'm glad you think so highly of this. I wanted to keep it short and simple. Loads of tutorials I saw with this went into unnecessary details and were like 20 mins.
didnt work, nothing shows as modified no matter how i set it up. regular .bin in the game folder and the modded .bin in the modengine2 folder and i tried putting the modded bin directly in the game folder. nothing shows as modified so i cant export the csv
you never went over what we do if the mod doesnt come with a csv file and only comes with a reg.bin file. we can't import the regulation file, what do we do? how do we know what to select to find out what the reg file modifies?
hello i dont know if you seeing this comment but can you like make a regular.bin for map for gobline mod and elden lords army for 1.12.3 sorry i dont know how to use and i have pirated version so something dont work please if you this i have discord if you want
@@PressXOrDieGaming I don't believe it works with a pirated game. I tried it before as well lol. I mean you can add me rodniikun, but I don't think it'll work.
hi mate ty for the video, im currently on dlc update and i would like to merge 2 mod, the all in one syyke and the tachikaze move set, is it possible actually or i need to wait for dsmap update or else? thanks
Not atm it's just a patch thing. Gotta wait. I was salty as well. If you really want to fix it, you have to downgrade your game but then you can't play the dlc.
@@Rodniikun i tried to merge mckenyu moveset pack with clever moveset pack, it didnt work so i tried smaller mods like genichiro moveset by cleverraptor and isshin moveset 2.0 by mckenyu
trying this out myself but im kinda stuck at 2:57. i cant play the music via the player to test it. it also says encoding unknown. not too sure if you know what causes that.
@@bryanbluez1053 i figured it out. go into your fmodel folder. then output then .data and right click the file called vgmstream-win. press extract file here. that will give you all the files in that same folder extracted. try again after that. should work now. that helped me atleast
@@Madara-en9oi @bryanbluez1053 I found, go to the place where audio is exported (should be "output" by default), inside, you will find a zip file, extract it, then it should work
@@Rodniikun you mean i export 1 intro , and then the rest ? , but still you can hear both musics the original and the desired merging . could you explain what is the purpose of this step except i think the 16 bit thing ?
For what worked with me, follow Rodniikun’s steps when *setting up* the Audacity portion of the video. After you split/splice the audio sections to match the format of the structure to the original in-game song, you’re going to do TWO separate audacity exports (In my case anyway). One exported track will only contain the INTRO part of the song structure that you export as one file. The second audacity export should contain the rest of your desired song aka what will be LOOPED (It should be the rest of the spliced part of your song separate from the intro dragged to the beginning of the audacity timeline). You can then resume following the guide from there as the final PAK file will have both after you convert them through the Wwise application. It's a bit crude because the loop requires tweaking to be flawless/seamless for my songs, but having it start and run through correctly once makes me happy enough.
@@lune-3214 I'm no master at this whole thing I literally learned all of the the day before I made this. I just wanted to have something out because no one was willing to make anything
@@RodniikunMy bad, I didn’t mean to knock on you if it came across that way. The tutorial was super helpful regardless. It just took me a bit of time to wrap my head around but I’m glad I did. Thanks again!
when i got to audacity i followed the part where you put loop and intro id but they both on 2 different compared to when u have a blank line im so lost
like i have 3 different audio lines (loop intro and my song do i mute the sound of the intro and loop idk im just confused on just this part of the video
