Now let me share a little bit more with you about my life! I live in a little town in Northern California with My Husband and 3 kiddos!!!! Our kids are all 22 months apart and that makes life CRAZY at times!! I feel in love with crafting when I first started Scrapbooking!!! I ADORE memory keeping it really is my first love! Memory Keeping is more than a hobby for me! Its away of life!
As my life has become busier than ever I have also fallen in love with Project Life!! Project Life has made it easy for me to document our everyday moments!
I would love to send you a Stampin' Up Catalog and get to you a little better. Please contact me at katinamartinez@live.com!
Oh I would love to watch a video on the Project Life App making your wonderful 12 x 12 pages. I don't get the digital scrapbooking thing but am a quick learner! Great job on the kids albums dear ~ Hugs, Gale The Happy Stamper :)
I always say you are so motivating. I love your ideas. I have started writing them down! I also listen to your videos more than once. I am so happy you are sharing your memory keeping! I definitely need a system! …
I LOVE THIS! But I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo far behind, and unlike you, I would love to be more caught up.... ugh! Thankfully I am also organized, but I have too much on the go :) good luck to us both! xo Vicky
Wow I love watching your viedos you have the best ideas to move forward. I also had lots of basic layouts I changed them out into 3 ring binder books. ( GRAND DAUGHTERS BOOKS IN PROCESS)❤❤
Awesome !!!! I’m trying to get better about sharing tips that come to me as I go through the process. So glad you’re here and wishing you the best luck on going back to previous years. If you need any help, let me know I’m always available.
What company do you use for the 3 ring albums. I too do family albums kid albums til 12 th grade ( which i only have one more kiddo to do that… four years til then. And I have 3 granddaughters i work on ( one more on the way in October this year 😊) but you are correct it never ends there is ALWAYS something to work on. It helps that all the supplies continue to make it fun to SCRAP.
Glad you like them, and it was great seeing you pop up here! I love the paper even more after I got it all organized and put away... I kept thinking of more ideas for all of it!
Been looking for “Pine Green” colored paper, and found it on Stampin Up website, but they won’t sell it to me? (Why, show it?) I quit shopping at a donut maker and refuse to buy fundraiser donuts now, because while at a store, on vacation, they wouldn’t sell a plain cream filled?
I am trying to get motivated to get back into my scrapbooking. Your videos are really helping me. I’m so slow though! I love looking at all of these paper packs. I really like echo parks paper. Im signed up for their 4 times a year paper shipments. I’m trying to decide if I want to sign up for Ali’s newest class that’s coming up…about organizing stash. Are you going to? I bet you don’t need to because you’re very organized already. I’m so excited for Kayla and school plays. Isn’t it fun to watch the process! My 35 year old daughter got involved in our local little theatre too which she loved. She ended up going to southern Oregon university in Ashland and got a degree in theatre. She doesn’t have a job in that field, but she followed her heart! You have a big weekend coming up! I can’t wait to see the colors they chose! Our styles are similar so listening to you love these makes me want them!
It can be hard to get motivated for sure. Come on over join our membership and there is a lot fun motivation in the group and lots of great ladies to help out!
I’m with you on the summer plans, we just take things week to week! We own a pontoon boat & dock it a local lake that’s 25 mins away from our house, we take the boat out when we get a chance but it’s not near as often as we’d like! My father-in-law has a house up on Catawba Island Lake Erie so we go up there for a week every summer as well and outside of that it’s the boat for our entertainment for the summer! We show dairy cattle so our April-June is absolutely nuts getting ready for the shows/showing! Once July hits we are ALL ready for a much needed break up on Catawba lol!
I absolutely love Carta Bella and Echo Park. They are my faves as well! I bought a bunch about a year ago when they had one of their sales and hope to next time they have one of their big sales. I want the Winnie the Pooh one!
It's so good right!!!! I haven't got much Carta Bella in the past but this go around I had a few! I love it, the paper for Carta Bella is so thick! It is amazing.
Great call on the paper shelves! It’s an awesome piece for your room ! I really need to redo my entire room! Eek! Not looking forward to it! Yours is inspiring to me!
I LOVE ORGANIZING! It’s as much a hobby as crafting. My struggle is I am not able to move my body as well anymore, so I have short spirts of energy. My room is in dire need of rearranging! I am currently purging and this is my most difficult space to let go of items. I’m trying to keep in mind that my time of life only allows a limited amount of creating time, so I need to let go of items that I in reality won’t use.
I just love how honest you are. I know you love Ali so I totally understand your thought process for not following along when things changed. What I mean is you would’ve done it again if it was just her. “Woo woo”, I totally get it. 😊 Anyway, I loved this video!
Well, honestly, it wasn’t really about things changing. I’m totally up for change and I wouldn’t mind following other people leading the content… If they were good at it, lol I’m not throwing at anybody… To each their own if people are following it and they think it’s great that’s wonderful. The classes that I saw and took the year she changed it were just not great for me. I felt like the people sharing were really cocky… A little bit like … Maybe over excited that they were leading… And really really condescending, and just overall had an attitude that there’re opinion was the only one that mattered, and it didn’t really matter who or what you were going through… They away was the only way. Ali Edward never approaches her that way, and it was really unsettling.
Unfortunately, it just never resonated with me and I particularly don’t want to drop $50 on a workshop where I don’t feel good about the content being shared. So I really don’t mind following past workshop. I’m glad I’m not the only one that felt a little weird about the change . I was a little nervous to share because I do love Ali Edward products and a lot of the classes that she does. I very much believe and doing the little word project.
I enjoyed your walkthrough and honesty. I had not ever looked at a Stampin’ Up catalog prior to this one so I don’t know what they looked like before. Thanks for the shout out, that was very kind of you. Kind of exciting you could purchase ctmh from yourself! I did update in the FB group customers with a CTMH account could order from any demonstrator so they can actually order from you too! 😃
What is so strange is I did order the close to my heart product, but it didn’t work to choose you and it didn’t work to choose me. I can see that in the back end it didn’t get credited to you like I chose and then it also didn’t get credited to me as a demonstrator so I’m assuming it just got credited to Stampin UP!. It’s a little bit frustrating understanding exactly what Stampin UP! wants us to do or handle things. I have still continued to just recommend people getting the close to my heart product from you. It really was the only thing I was all excited about from this release this month. Which is fine. A new catalog will be out in two months. Thanks for watching. I just watched your unboxing of your order and that was exciting.
Thank you for the video. I agree, the catalog is confusing. I miss seeing everything together at the back - Ink, paper, dies, punches, etc. Oh well, every year can’t be a winner. Can’t wait to see what you create. Have a great day.
Yes you are right every year can't be a winner! I also think about how in just two months there will be the Holiday Catalog, things move so fast in the crafty world!!!! Thanks for watching!!
That’s quick for a new catalog. Hardly time to receive an order from the annual catalog. To be honest, I haven’t ordered from SU in several years. In my opinion, all of the sets look the same and the designs are not really my style as I don’t have people with small children or animals who I make cards for. I will continue to watch your videos as I enjoy seeing what you create! Have a great Monday!!
I love those clear bins! Where did you get them? I’ve been wanting to put my cardstock in rainbow order! Please let me know where you get your 8 1/2 x 11 clear bags!
Hello! Are you talking about the clear bins for my 12x12 Cardstock? If so those are from the container store and I have an entire video about that storage here - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QR-mVL6cc74.htmlsi=yTrcHb4Wygb3FuRU The containers are from the container store, they are called Multi purpose bins and they come in 4 sizes. The clears bags I'm going to try out I found on amazon. I will let you know if they work. Thank you for watching!
