who told lana del rey she could sing country music, that person needs to be fired. the fact she is so off-key on the last line is honestly embarrassing.
So what do you do when someone steals your phone from a public trash can (I didn't sign out of my accounts) and rewrites all of your comments because they could?
Tammy would be proud. This is one of the greatest songs ever recorded. Thank you Lana for reminding folks of the great mystic wonder that is Tammy Wynette.
Sometimes it's hard to be a woman Givin' all your love to just one man You'll have the bad times And he'll have the good times Doing things that you don't understand But if you love him, you'll forgive him Even though he's hard to understand, mm, mm And if you love him, oh, be proud of him 'Cause after all, he's just a man Stand by your man Give him two arms to cling to And something warm to come to When nights are cold and lonely Stand by your man And show the world you love him Keep giving all the love you can, mm, mm Stand by your man, hmm, hmm Stand by your man (Ooh, ooh) And show the world you love him (Ooh, ooh) Keep giving all the love you can Stand by your man, mm, mm, mm
I have the opportunity to see Lana del Rey in Mexico City and when she sing this song, all the people scream. She has a amazing amazing voice. For my, the best concert in my life, thanks Lana ❤️🔥
She even stated she’s working on a country/western style album and I’d love it! Love her eclectic style. She’s an amazing and talented artist. Side note, that electric guitar sounds amazing!
I don't think artists cover songs just to make them sound like the exact same as the original lol, its her own style, which millions of people love around the world.
You’re right No one will ever come close to Tammy on this one. She was one of a kind. Maybe the greatest singer and writer of the 20th century. Pretty much all new music pales in comparison to the music of then. When you think about it the same goes for architecture.
it blows my mind how Lana can take someone else's song and make it sound so effortlessly her own. Her covers are ALWAYS amazing, I would've never guessed this was someone else's song since I'm not that much into country music.
@@User-winter999 I mean, Lana’s songs are uniquely hers (melodically, structurally, and vocally). She also sings in a certain style that’s pretty different from the pop and country sound. Hearing her sing a more traditional-sounding song is interesting, that’s all. 😁
