Thanks for your video. I just received and tried to use my origin tonight, but the origin cannot find the moon. It is full moon tonight and I can even see the being moon just by eyesight. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I remember steeping outside my house in the late 1990's and was awed by the hale bopp comet. It was clear and bright and so easy to find and I live in a big NE city. This looks like it won't even come close to that amazing comet named hale bopp.

When showing things to non-stargazers, aim at you target. Then lower the binocular vertically, and see what landmark you hit at the horizon. At that point all you have to do is tell your friend, hey, look at that tree or that chimney, and raise the binocular vertically, slow, till you see your target.

Does it work well with a celestron evolution alt-az mount ? i.e. to do initial alignment and to keep the object in center?

0:38, actually according to COBS, the comet shines at a mind bigging - 3.2. This is due to forward scattering of light.

@philthompson22
@philthompson22 9 дней назад
Close to the horizon, nearly directly west, just after sunset. It'll only be 5 degrees above the Sun (a couple fingers' width on your outstretched arm) on the 11th, and a bit higher than that each night afterwards (but it will get more dim).

It’s time to update your app to work with the native resolution of iPhones. At a certain point Apple will just remove it from the App Store and we will lose a key functionality of our telescopes. Come on Celestron!
@PCWarriorTV

Its apple they are so overwhelming overrated. Androids are far more better they are more advanced phones more customizable features samsung makes the best phones on planet Earth they don't restrict the software license like Apple does so that's main reason why it's difficult to move software to iPhone, companies have to jump thru hoops to make their apps work on ios vs Android. Companies don't have the Apple license to deal with so on Android apps will always work better. My best advice just stay away from iphones they don't change anyway they always release a new phone every year that looks identical to the the previous they don't change anything just add a feature or two with no customizable options of course.

Wow! It's gratifying to know Celestron is STILL innovating. My 1981-vintage Celestron C8 is STILL plugging away. As with everyone, I look with envy at the ways to MOUNT my old scope to make it more useful. However...it's been my computers and astronomical software that have been my observing partners over the years. In fact...a new mount can wait....😆🤣

I was hoping you would show how to connect several accessories to the dew controller. I am running the 4X Dew Controller with a CGX mount, StarSense Autoguider, Celestron GPS Module, CPWI, SharpCap software with ZWO camera, all controlled using a Windows 11 laptop. How do I connect all of that with power, USB, AUX, and still get CPWI to recognize it all? I can never get CPWI to recognize both the StarSense Autoguider, and the Dew controller, as well as control the mount. Also, do I need the hand controller if I am using CPWI with a laptop??? It can all get very confusing. Please produce a wiring diagram for the various accessories or put that in a video. I have read the Dew Controller user manual and it just does not cover this very well.

My question is how to set up CPWI to NOT do a meridian flip until 20 degrees past the meridian. I have followed the directions in the CPWI manual and it still flips when it gets to the meridian. It does not go 20 degrees past. Does the "Auto Flip" setting in CPWI force it to flip? Should I turn that off? I am perplexed.....

Hey I just got one of these astromaster90AZ's, it's pretty cool, opened the box, assembled it, took it outside at 8:20 this evening. Then aimed it like a riffle at Saturn and got her centered and focused, then put the 10mm in and focused to see Saturn and the rings and the Titan moon all in 10 mins. Right out of the box, I did not have any issues and I have never used a telescope before.😁

I just bought a pair of binoculars and I hadnt used them for like 30 years years. When I put my eyes in them 1 hour ago I was seeing the image in layers of depth instead of a natural depth. I guess I have to return those cause I am used to VR nad my brain can not take it. I learned something though.
