Hello AJ, "high integrity" relates to the reliability of the entire HIPPS package. All th emajor components of the HIPPS package undergo failure analysis which is then compiled to determine the Safety Integrity Level (SIL) for the complete HIPPS package.
its a interesting subject & video .. One question ... the logic solver will be supplied along with HIPPS valve .. or its may procure separate? Pls clarify .
Hi Rajesh, most manufacturers/suppliers can integrate a logic solver (manufactured by 3rd parties) into the HIPPS actuator and valve package so that end users or EPCs can purchase the complete HIPPS package from a single supplier.
