Sempre ouvi falar nesta sigla VPN, mas nunca tive a curiosidade de saber à respeito. Agora, assistindo a este vídeo, confesso que me deixou preocupado... Mas tenho algumas dúvidas.. Desculpe-me se meus questionamentos não procedem (sou meio que xucro neste quesito tecnologia): 1 - Que garantia tenho que, ao fazer uso de um VPN para evitar invasões cibernéticas, o próprio VPN não estará espionando e a qualquer momento, passando para pessoas mal intencionadas ou até ele mesmo fazendo uso de meus dados confidenciais? Será que algum funcionário da VPN não poderia acessar meus dados, invadir minha rede, hackear minha conexão ou algo parecido? 2 - No meu plano de internet caseira, meu PC já está protegido? O plano com minha operadora já possui VPN ou preciso contratar? 3 - Os planos de operadora móvel já oferecem o serviço de VPN no pacote ou preciso contratar? 4 - Como saber se meu aparelho já está protegido, por exemplo, se o smartphone que estou usando já possui ou não VPN? 5 - Se de alguma forma eu não puder usar meu smartphone (esqueci em casa, perdi ou deu algum defeito) e recorrer a um aparelho de outra pessoa para fazer uma operação confidencial (como acessar minha conta no banco), essa pessoa não possuir VPN, eu tenho como recorrer a minha VPN pessoal para fazer uso daquele aparelho que não é o meu? 6 - Dando complemento à pergunta anterior: como saber se um aparelho que eu peguei emprestado possui VPN e se possui, se ela me protege também no caso de eu acessar por ele meu perfil na rede social ou minha conta bancária? Desde já agradeço os esclarecimentos!

I have been using NordVPN for about 3 months now. At least once or twice a week you go to the app on PC, and you'll find "OOPS WE NEED A RESTART" BUT you are connected to the internet. Even though INTERNET KILL SWITCH IS ON. "When you disconnect or when the connection drops unexpectedly." DOES NOT WORK! You could be connected ALL DAY without your VPN! If you are doing anything sketchy, this is not the one. I am buying this to go from 20 to 10 ping. Imagine mid $1800.00 ranked tournament, because ping matters! Finding out you are not connected.🤬 Because you can't remember to babysit software that is supposed to work on its own. I do not recommend! Windows 11

Be careful they tend to hide crucial info in general terms and conditions! I bought von for one month that was extremely expensive btw, and I recognized after one month they took one more month payment!!! I contacted support and they refused my request to pay back this one month that i didn’t used. So the end is that I paid more than 30€ for 2 months of regular VPN. Not recommend.

Where is problem to send reminder to email that you will be charged? Where is problem to refund money if client was not using product? meshnet wont connect to any webpage i've ping the page its reading but as i look its giving me 1000ms thats slow it wont load google result as google is lite weight when accessing i uninstall it look other ways for now playitgg is my go to when accessing my jellyfin server.

I used Nord for 7 years, but recently, I canceled the auto-renewal on my 2-year subscription because they were going to charge me $151 for ONE year. No way I'm paying that for a VPN, especially since there are free ones out there. I canceled the auto-renewal about a month ago, and last night at midnight, Nord turned it back on, and said they will renew my subscription 2 weeks before it expires. Their explanation is to prevent any gaps in the service, but it is really to make sure they get your money before your sub expires, and they turn your auto-renewal back on, thinking you won't notice. Don't use this VPN. They are very dishonest. This is why big computer channels like JayzTwoCents have stopped supporting them, in addition to them leaking user's data.

@@Nordvpn Not sure what you want. I got an email yesterday saying auto-renewal was enabled. I didn't enable it. I had disabled it about a month ago. They did this before, but I just passed it off, thinking I had never disabled it, but now I'm sure it was done to charge my account. I emailed support about this. They just ignored it and brushed it off.
Can you please make a how-to-meshnet for HAOS installations on a Raspberry Pi? This seems to be the more difficult scenario because you have not much control over what is outside of the docker containers. I've been searching for ways to get this working for a while now and am still on square one.
Hi Alex, the installation process is very similar for Home Assistant on RaspberryPi, unless you're running Home Assistant OS in which case it's not going to be possible to install Meshnet. @@Nordvpn I'm using Home Assistant OS and I think there's good reasons to keep it that way. It's secure and fast and the recommended way to install HA, so also the easiest to maintain and keep updated. I was hoping that Nord would go the extra mile and package this for Alpine too. Unfortunately they use the APK instead of APT package manager.
I have been continuously attacked and having my passwords on many accounts and games changed for the past year,as well as experiencing lots of buffering and slow internet which makes me really frustrated.
