Welcome to my channel! I'm a Yu-Gi-Oh! enthusiast and LOVE the card game and anime. I love the thrill of opening Yu-Gi-Oh! packs and like to stay updated with the TCG rulings. I am a registered Konami Judge on the Judge Program and strive to understand the complexities of this children's card game. :D I also upload a ton of my Master Duel replays. Please consider checking them out! Some are quite epic!
I can't believe my Sky Striker opponent absolutely broke my board, then followed up with an Engage! into an Engage! Absolutely insane. You can't make this stuff up.
@@comfyghost hi, thanks for watching! So, I'm not referring to the scoop after seeing me playing Yubel. I'm referring to how opponent opted to conduct minimal special summons. We all know Tearlaments and Horus can Special Summon for days, but due to Maxx "C", opponent decided not to build a better board.
Did y'all peep how opponent thought they could use Sinful Spoils of Betrayal - Silvera on Mudragon of the Swamp? Lol. Mudragon is so good! 💪😄 Due to character limitation, i had to short-hand the title. 😄🤣
Hi, thanks for watching! So, on one hand, Maxx "C" punishes those decks that special summon a lot. When such decks don't have an out to Maxx "C", they can only make minimal plays, if at all. This likely leaves those players with a weaker board presence, if at all. If opponent decides to combo wombo, Maxx "C" gives user a ton of resources, likely giving the Maxx "C" user the win. On the other hand, Maxx "C" is seen as a healthy card for the game because the game is now mostly based on special summoning, and gives way for players to at least have a chance at winning, especially if going 2nd. As we all know, the game is "go first or go home." 😄 I've been in situations where Maxx "C" was used against me and I just decided to not combo wombo b/c I didn't want opponent to draw a ton of cards. But even then... it's not like decks these days need more than 1 card to win games, with one-card-combos and all. 😄
On top of that, since most people run at least 1 Nibiru as a just in case, special summoning can lead to a board wipe if you dont have a monster negate or the maxx C player draws his crossout designator to destroy your counters. Not to mention the Maxx C player can now disrupt you mid combo by drawing more handtraps like effect veiler, ash blossom, or Called by the grave. Maxx C is too oppressive for any decks that want to special summon alot and want to get a field up and running on turn 1, requiring at least an ash blossom, called by the grave, or crossout designator to be in the starting hand to even have a chance.
6 interruptions with this amazing opening hand! 🔥💪 1) Number 90: Photon Lord 2) Phantom of Yubel 3 & 4) I:P Masquerena into S:P Little Knight (S:P is 2 interruptions) 5) Orcust Crescendo (omni negate Counter Trap) 6) Diabellstar Sinful Spoils of Betrayal - Silvera (if opponent didn't scoop, I would have added this to board) I could have gone route of Orcustrated Babel for a Dingirsu interruption, but have been getting blown out with Evenly Matched, which does not feel good. Lol. So, opted for an omni negate.
Right after uploading this replay, i realized my Phantom of Yubel would resolve with effect (successfully). Phantom of Yubel only changes an opponent's monster's effect, therefore, the effect would get negated, since it is the opponent's monster's effect and it's getting negated by Imperm. 💪😅🔥
This was my first time Summoning Yubel The Ultimate Nightmare and seeing it in action. It was abaolutely awesome! 5k damage from the Ultimate Nightmare is amazing! Awesome W! 💪🔥
A few speculations: 1.) Opponent stayed to Duel me b/c they thought I could push for game in the next turn or 2. But unfortunately, KoMoney wouldn't let me draw the right cards to push for game. 😄🤣 2.) Opponent probs saw that I would deck out before being able to push for game with Yata alone. 😄 But then Opponent scooped it up. 💪
i was thinking why did he not attack you at @2:11 min, true sun god coming in clutch saving you from being attacked that was hilarious lmao also i love the dingirsu on the opponents turn.
Yeah. Dingirsu on opponent's turn is very fun. Unfortunately opponent just had everything they needed to win (multiple Imsety and multiple True Sun God). 😅
Beat them twice going second... I impermed the junk while there were none of their traps in gy so he passed their turn with the setup and I called by in my turn the one in Gy in response of the junk eff on field. The second time my opp didnt opened reasoning or gate and I ashed their fountain and it was over.
@@kingscourge6031 I haven't rewatched 5D's yet, so I have only seen it once in my lifetime and don't remember this (since i watched 5D's as the episodes were being released). Maybe it's time for a rewatch. 😄
@@kingscourge6031 Junk Collector (monster) copied Nightmare Archfiend's effect to summon 3 tokens with 2k atk each. Transaction Rollback copied Earthbound Release's effect to destroy as many monsters as possible that opponent controls, then inflict damage to them equal to combined original atk of monsters destroyed. So, 6k damage. We go back to effect of Nightmare Archfiend: it inflicts 800 damage each time a token (that was summoned by its effect) is destroyed. So, 2400 damage. Boom. FTK'd.
Horus always gives me PTSD... The first time I got FTK'd was also due to a combo involving Horus and me suddenly taking 8k dmg at End Phase, in a similiar combo as this duel.
