Ah-mazing. They sound sooo good and powerful, my favorite hornline. He was not happy with those mellos on the sustain during canon though 😬😬 you could tell, lot of pitch issues during that run lol
Training tonal memory. The atonal section moves the ear away from the tonal center. When they move back to the resolution chord, it's a check to see how quickly the horn line makes the adjustment back to the tonal center and correct intonation in relationship to the harmony.
