I make mostly biweekly videos on everything Salesforce related. Most of my contents are flow and Lightning admin related, I also have beginner and some intermediate to advanced videos as well. I also love talking about the best-recommended design pattern and passionate about building scalable solutions on the platform.
Hey Pratima, I watched ur example and seems good . but i have a similar requirement if amount grater than 2000 dollars, i have to send the record to the approver's , once first approvaler is approved then send to second approver,omce 2nd approver approved then send it to 3rd approver. so how can 3rd approver know is 2nd approver is approved or not and 2nd approver know when 1st approver approved the record. any suggestion pls
mam you should speak in hindi like sanjay gupta sir and in last you have to show the flow after delete these loops and on ui also as it is technical video you can make more long video
I am not comfortable speaking Hindi while recording , I can in real life it just feels awkward on camera. Anyways this video was meant for a quick howcase for transform. I will make another longer video going through step by step.
if you have users with Manage list views permission that are able to share list views with roles, they wont be able to do that unless you also assign them an additional permission of view role and role hierarchy.
@@BrynHaydock you would need to first query the product line items from quote then take them through a loop adding them onto an order line item collection variable then insert out of the loop. You can also use transform element perhaps. I will try to make a video on this
Pratima, this is a fantastic demo! Thanks for sharing. I'm learning a lot and gaining a better understanding of this new product. Looking forward to more content like this.
Please let me know if we can add this as a sub-flow. Use case a welcome email is sent in the Parent flow when the Onboarding status is Approved. Subflow needs to send another email after 24 hours to schedule a call with the lead.
@@PratimaShri yes mam i seen so many but your way is like quiet simple and teaching like so start for developing start from scratch from where one have to start like from variable declaration you can see the growth of sanjay gupta he’s doing the same thing but ur convincing power is great please use it
Hi Pratima, Thank your for your very useful videos. Can we schedule to send an automatic email Twice a day with specific hours? Like one in the morning in the other at the end of the afternoon? Thanks in advance !
Hi partima . Just after underatanding platform event , i was remembering swapping of 2 numbers problem , for this we use a extra variable as handy to swap the numbers . So this extra varaible here is nothing but platform event right when it comes to salesforce. Is my understanding correct ?
Hi Pratima, Thanks for sharing! I think there is one mistake in 6:25 where you say that to refer to a parent you add __r (I think you meant __c) The __r is to refer to child in subqueries.
Oh shoot you are absolutely correct 🙈 I forgot to talk about custom fields altogether so added this voiceover and I totally misspoke. I use this on a daily so it’s quite embarrassing. Thank you for pointing it out. Pinning this comment for others to see. Will make a follow-up on custom fields.
Hi Pratima, very informative video. In recent interview, interviewer asked me query 1). To fetch all accounts with the number of associated contacts with them. 2). To fetch all accounts who have more than 2 contacts related to them. Can you tell me how to write these queries?
hey! You would have to write some Apex - here is an example: (i dont recommend using this without any filter as this is an expensive query and might run into SOQL limits) List<Account> accList = [SELECT Id,Name, (SELECT Id from Contacts) FROM Account]; for(Account a : accList){ System.debug('Count of Contacts for '+a.Name+ ' is ' +a.Contacts.size()); }
Highly simplified version: Think of copilot as the user facing tool and prompt builder as the brains to do cool stuff with like using flow without GenAI I talk about this in one of the videos because it was also confusing to me
