I've talked to people from Kansas before who say that they build that interstate through the most boring stretch of Kansas as possible! Not that Kansas is a really exciting state to drive across on any road to begin wirh. That interstate is a really boring drive until you can finally see the Rocky Mountains in the distance!
I-94W - Turned off at St Cloud. North on Hwy 15 , U-Turn at Veterans Drive, South on Hwy 15, West on MN 23, U-Turn at 10rh Ave S in Waite Park, West on MN 23 out of town, turn right back on to I-94W.
5:42 - highly recommend stopping off at Forks Mercantile in Livermore, north of Fort Collins. Great coffee and food with a bit of local history thrown in, a nice place to stretch your legs and fill up (you and your car!). I did this drive a couple of years ago and the scenery is stunning. Laramie is quaint, very quiet when I was there, nice vibe around the old town.
16:26 Exit of my high school Alma matter and that’s 4 miles west of Exit 259 17:09 The exit to my hometown four miles north from IN 18 and 600 East 17:48 My hometown of Can Buren, IN
I have to say that just because a city is huge doesn’t make it complex. Chicago, IL is actually simpler than Madison, WI is because Chicago has a lower cost of living ratio. Simple cities (as in cities with either a low cost of living or low cost of living ratio) tend to be more vulnerable to crime (probably because of poverty)!
Things have changed by 2023: at 7:12 the Territorial Rd. Bridge was replaced. 7:17 that bridge also was replaced when the last new stretch of the US 31 freeway opened in 2022, resulting in the demolition of the Highland Ave. Bridge at 7:20.
That was a nice drive. I shot all of the driving footage at 4fps, so none of it runs at "normal speed". However, if you have a decent video editor, you can slow it down and get a pretty smooth playback. Hope that helps!
