Okay everyone listen up. After doing this step, you MUST use a USB cord (USB A to USB B) to connect your printer to your computer. After doing that, you'll need to install the firmware update manually from your computer to your printer using the USB cord and a file from your computer. Please search online for further details regarding whatever you are personally trying to do. Wait for your printer to turn off on its own and then your printer should be usable again. In the state that this video puts it in, I don't think you can use the printer because it is in recovery mode. No buttons I pressed would allow me to activate the printer until I did the steps I outlined above. Thank you for your time, and to the person who made this video, please add context in the video description next time. This was incredibly confusing for too many people, myself included.
Worked out great on the first try. Only problem was I didn’t use the usb port on the back of the printer the first time. I was using the one on the front. Thanks. I bought the compatible cartridges in bulk so I really wanted this to work.
Was excited to find this video only to realize that your links don't work, You should really remove the video if you aren't going to have the file available that you tell people to use. Very disappointed.
Mandy, not sure if you are still around but this advise saved me pulling my hair out.... I went through 4 - 17x22 piece of fine art paper and was about to give up and I found your video... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!
My own printer is not like this…. It’s quite different, even my cartridge. And it’s same wf-7610. There is no place to hang d cartridge by d side on mine
I have an EPSON XP-3205 and I powered it down during an update to the Firmware. Not a good idea. Now when I power it up I get the "EPSON DEVICE Recovery Mode Update Firmware" message... ...but my PC tells me I have the latest Firmware ! How do I solve this please ? SOLUTION EPSON have released software in May2024 to resolve this ! Please check it out ! I'm a happy man.
Two thumbs up and two questions. First, is there any reason you can't do the download using the correct adapter from a USB-C to Epson cable using a phone? After all USB-C supports high speed transfer. And second, was it raining the day you made this video because it sounds like rain falling on a garage roof in the background? A curious but nosey Enquiring mind wants to know. LOL! 😃👍 Deus Veritatem Honorat, Maj. Tamre' Colby, Cmdr. 347th Bravo CAS/AS
