If you are talking about mission 7, he tried, but I think the huge mass of walls kinda messed with its pathing so he traveled to the other part of the map, which basically took him more time than was left on the clock
@@AmonsChallenges NO level 8 at a certain amount of time the titan will atack. I thought it was because you didn't put son of osiris resurecting the guardian because it usally happens when the guardian is almost awaken... The titans comes at you so you have to use the guardian to beat him. but with you it just sits at the base to and do nothing even after you got the guardian . Lke you said they stopped atacking at a certain point why i don't know
17:56 I really hate to say it after all the work you put in, but this was kind of unnecessary. If you move fast enough you can build ships and destroy and steal pink base before they get to do anything, meaning you only fight red.
You know, I never even tried to get rid of pink. I always thought they have a bunch of ships and if i wanted to get rid of them I would have to build a huge navy or do a land assault. Definitely gonna keep this one in mind if I try another kind of challenge run on that level. Appreciate it!
Just want to say, simple editing like back off when the battle boar kicks a unit or the exodia arm for the box of Osiris, is what makes a video good. Just because it's small or simple doesn't mean it doesn't make the video that much better. I genuinely laughed at those parts. Keep up the hard work man 🫰🏾
I'm so happy to finally see this video out. I loved these games as a kid and to see you making your videos on them just filled me with nostalgia. Keep up the hard work brother 🫰🏾
I cant wait to see China campaing, please, please ,please do it,can make it live too, at least the first mission plz, the chinese campaig is cool but harder thats why most people dont like them but i consider them canon like others campaig like the chinese are a real legitimate civ unlike the fictional atlanteans
I know it's a legit civ, but since this is the hardest campaign, I'm supposed to have the most experience with it and not the least. Plus, I really don't enjoy it and it sucks because I really love this game... I might revisit this campaign at some point in the future, but for now I'm trying to step away from deathless... Got one more deathless video in store and then I'm gonna try to do something else. I don't wanna do deathless challenges all the time, they do get old after a while, especially if you play a bunch in a row. Again, I might revisit this campaign in the future, just so you all can watch me suffer even more than this video, but for now it's going to be on hold.
I did all the campains as a kid i tought this game was amazing ! Glad to see you are enjoying it and you videos are super cool ! Makes me feel like the good old times !!
Another cheese coming right up: Fun fact: on lv 6 when the troyan patrol attack if you manage to lock their units inside, for example you suraund them with buildings, and than start attacking them after you have killed enaught the will set you as netural, so they will not attack you, and the next patrol will not arrive until the 1st one is killed or arrived back to the walls
I'm not sure if that was a bug or it was intended, but I went north and to the site that has an underworld passage when you come next to it (the one behind 5 stone archers) and I moved my units where the underworld passage was supposed to come up, but since it had no space (because of my troops), they just awarded my with the power so I could place it anywhere.
@@Achilles75 It literally didn't happen to me in the official attempt, but when I recorded some additional footage for this video... So I can't really tell you to watch my full level commentary video with it, but the footage of it does exist on my hard drive :D The 5 sentinels that I'm talking about are like in the middle of the map, southwest of the enemy main base. The underworld passage that is surrounded by a fence leads to the one I'm talking about.
@@AmonsChallenges see the thing is usually when ur troops even get near the area, actually it's even more that. When the area comes within their LOs itself the underworld passage opens up that's why I'm a bit confused how to pull it off
My cheeses are like proficient 500$ cheeses you have to order from France. Cannon rushing is the cheap cheese you get off the shelf for a few bucks. I'm not ready to go that low just yet :D
Aww, no Chinese Campaign deathless? I've never played that expansion at all but I keep hearing it's terrible. Although reports are mixed in how terrible it is like "The faction itself is broken and overpowered!" and "The campaign isn't very well designed!" which made me assume that it was easy to cheese or something. Not that it was literally broken and couldn't be won without patches?
The faction itself is relatively strong, but they've put exactly 0 effort into the campaign, so why should I put any effort into beating it deathless then? I have barely forced myself to beat it regularly and I can honestly tell you it really sucks. There is a reason why they call this faction "The one that shall not be named" 🙃
@@AmonsChallenges Fair enough then... I also heard that someone tried taking those gods and replacing them with Aztec ones. Dunno the status of that project but I would love to see Age Of Mythology Retold include stuff like the Aztecs, Babylonians... maybe the Celts? :D
So dishonorable. I mean it’s one thing if you just faked it and let them take it however they want, but you lied to them in chat to get an advantage. Might as well maphack or something.
I like to imagine Gaia isn't pissed that Kronos is killing humanity and fighting the gods, but instead is mad that he is killing all her garden. (Earth). He murdered one to many plants and she is pissed.
Considering how the Gaia myth goes, she's probably wanting her buttplug back... Or was that Oranos who was pushed into the bowels? Either way, I think one should be wary...
Lvl 7 is totally cheeseable as you can send all your units to kastor immediately and the enemies literally can't reach you. Level 8 is also doable by sending the son of Osiris to the little island off to the side (where the three relics are). Then use a ton of Phoenix's to kill the titan (since it can't touch them) note set the son of Osiris to passive else he will keep getting himself killed.
Would have loved to try and send all units to Kastor, that actually really makese sense now that I think about it hahahah But that mission is dumb anyway xD
I saw you are still a small channel, and i was hoping you would continue your deathless runs after watching your previous videos. I was actually excited when i saw a youtube notification for this video. Your content is fun, witty, and contains the occasional war crime. My kind of guy. I wish you the best for your channel and look forward to the 40k content (Xenos genocide for the EMPERAAAAH)
I'm glad you're enjoying my videos! My plan is to make a 40k deathless video and after that I'm going to do make a different little run just to switch things up. BUT after that my plan is making a major series of a single challenge run type which has never been attempted and it's going to be done for all StarCraft 1, StarCraft 2 and WarCraft 3 campaigns (maybe not one after another, though). It's going to be exactly as painful as deathless, but with less constant saving and loading. So don't worry, there are going to be many war crimes written in our future!
You can cheese the nordic titan mission even further: if you prevent red from destroying the first village (even if a house is still standing), they wont sent an additional attack wave (the one with champion huskarls), leaving you alone with the titan.
You mean the huskarls wave that decided to run away for some reason? :D Did not know that hahahaha But I guess preventing the destruction on deathless would be a lot harder if I can't use the starting frost giants (because of the traitor god power)
@@AmonsChallenges pretty sure you can also use your starting units to kill all of their units, if you go right away they are all at a side of the map and you can kill them off before they produce a town center. (This is a bit difficult but doable). If you do it they won't have any builders left and can't do shit, so it's just the titan to deal with.
This might be me oversharing a bit, but I don't intend to play the same game over and over as a challenge runner and I'm kinda afraid of that major shift towards something else and losing the audience from my first videos. After the next major video, I intend to take a break from deathless challenges and do another kind of challenge run which might even be on a whole different kind of game altogether (haven't decided that one yet) and I really hope it doesn't backfire...
I can't speak for everyone but I personally like a bit of variety. The well of ideas can run pretty dry pretty quickly if your name isn't GiantGrantGames and don't have the manpower to alter entire campaigns on a whim. The only thing I will say is that seeing a game I'm familiar with is a lot more enticing to watch than one I don't, so doing some polling or sticking within the same sphere of interests would help.
Thank you :) But I'd say I've put as much hard work in the 12 Atlantis missions as i have in the 32 regular missions, that's how hard those were. I will soon share my suffering with you all, don't worry!
The main benefit I see to running Zerg while pretending to be AFK, is that your opponent can easily assume what they see is all you have since you can only build on creep. You have to do a trick that not everyone will know about to hide your production building, where Terran and Protoss can simply place them somewhere obscure.
first player gets hit with the most scummy play of all time: "xD" second player gets hit with a good old drone rush: "fu" some people are just built different
@@AmonsChallenges But Kamos does it better. 1. Throwing himself on a spear with the hands up like a dumbass => Check 2. Using his last energy to pull him back instead of thrusting Arkantos with his blade => check 3. Walking to jump the cliff because... because why not => check
