Just got one for my FN509 midsize with tlr7a and curious how much positive click yours has. Mine retains ok but feels a bit more like a friction retention than a positive click.
The light also strobes. Think you need to press one button ten times till it strobes. After that it’s a double click of either button to activate strobe.
Thanks Devil Dog great review, as a Doc in the Worlds finest Navy, one of my jobs was looking out for the backbone of the US military(USMC). The only difference between your build and mine is optices. I chose the Holosun 508T GR(see Sage Dynamics). By safe Marine!!! Stay low, go fast. Shot first, die last. One shot, one kill. No luck, ALL SKILL!!!
Why you say theres plenty of space in there and you dont even give your own height measurements? 😂 Btw you said talk shit to me its all good, so here i am. Haha
A quick way to fix that issue, is to attach the rear Sling QD to the other side of the stock. This will allow for a tighter fit to the body when hanging, and also eliminate the issue with the sling & mount getting digging into the shoulder.
Good video. I just got a Glock 19 Gen 5 and I'm seriously considering adding this TLR-7A. I have a small streamlight flashlight that I use often(uses CR-123A or AA battery). Semper Fi(I was a Jarhead from '76-'79...Hoo-rah!...:))
Johnny, ripstop pants can of course be ripped or torn on something but then the rip "stops" because of the checkered sew pattern in the pants. That's why it's called rip"stop".
I’ve used this at least 30x, each time was at least 2 nights. Has protected me in heavy rain, snow, desert heat, etc. pretty happy with the investment. The only thing bad I can say about it is packing up takes 10-15 minutes
