I’m curious, I’ve seen a few of these vintage camera videos and I’ve noticed that not many people shoot with the eye piece that comes with the camera. I tend to shoot with it on but I don’t see many people shooting with it on. Any reason why?

I wouldn't say this is a "normal" way of sleeping, but for sure they did a good job of hammering in the idea that V is exhausted at this point. It's even directly mentioned by both V and Jackie, so I don't know what else to say other than 'I have been known to sleep like this when I was so exhausted I didn't care about anything but hitting the bed.' Honestly, I'd put money down on this being on purpose. The animations aren't bad, and even look like they were set up for a side lay, or whatever you'd call that. Sidesaddle sleeping?
Another reason could be is a easier way to get up since with this strange sleeping position, your legs are still on he floor so when v wakes up he can get up and off the bed right away I guess. Not sure why I'm giving answers do a animation in a game.
This is definitely how I would sleep after a day of getting shot multiple times and running like 30 city blocks a day. Just sayin, looks pretty realistic to me.
They can’t even make a character go to bed right Jesus. This game has so many flaws so many. At least the combat was fun, I would say the story was too but it was so cut up and short it was over before I knew it.
Oh! Now I have realized I slept the wrong way for my whole life! Thank you CD Project for teaching me how to do it right! I will always sleep like this from now on.
