I was never aloud to choose my Christmas gifts. I got what I got and most of the time we didn't have money for gifts. So I think we had 3 Christmas woth gifts. And it was really upsetting going back to school to see and hear about all the nice stuff everyone got. I was lucky to get some socks and underwear. And still to this day I get upset around Christmas time because of all the depressing memories of my childhood. I'm not saying this to get pitty. But someone else always has it worse. I just wished for one good Christmas but it never happened. And if I complained at all about it I would get my ass beat and then the few things I got would get thrown in the fire and I wouldn't get anything. So be lucky if you are able to pick what you want because not everyone gets the opportunity.
