Hey, new subscriber to your channel. Your hair is beautiful and thank you for all the tips! Just did my first mini twist style and I love them. Question - How many times do you wash your hair during that month?
How do you wear your hair out? Where is the balance between protecting your hair and also having fun with it? The natural hair community recommends tucking ends away all the time yet I want to show off my hair that I put in a lot of effort to grow...what are your thoughts on this?
Your hair is your own. I believe that while certain methods like protecting your ends can really help, it’s also up to you to decide whether or not you’d like to practice it- and how much. :) Hair should be enjoyed as well!
For me my hair needs to be trimmed more often than just 4-6 months. I kept going by that rule and my hair kept breaking and by that 6 month mark it would be so damaged but only in my ends. I decided recently to just start trimming sooner. My hair is already looking better after I had to do a mini chop from waiting so long to trim, it traveled up my shaft smh. So that 6 month rule doesn’t work for everyone and I’m salty that I used to go by that like a religion. 😬
@onna-il6ct maybe a relaxer? it chemically straightens but there's no daily use of heat to make it straight? if she has a relaxer she can just blow dry her hair and it be fairly straight
Personally, i highly highly highly highly recommend world of curls activator gel. Don't need nothing else. Literally. Best everrrrr moisturizer and detangler in my humble opinion. It's all i ever use. Never regret it💯💗👍‼️
Ahhh this video is in perfect timing! I stumbled into mini twists and am wanting to keep my hair healthy I start this journey. Thanks for sharing these tips 🎉 How often do you re-moisturize? Is this daily or weekly?
So glad it was helpful for you! I lightly re- moisturize every 3-4 days or so. That is when my hair gets dry personally, but whatever time frame you notice works for you, go by that! :)
Such an awesome video! Thank you! I was afraid to wear my hair but my hair is so damaged that I'm afraid that if I don't learn to love it it may leave 🥺 I've put on weight and that wasn't helping with me thinking of wearing my hair. I'm going to do them this week. ❤
My mini twists are still a bit short so I prefer to have them in for a week and then I take them out and wear my hair down in a twist out style for a week and then the following week I put my hair up in a Puff or updo and then in 4th week I do the wash and the twists
lol we DO need one on curly hair *from first vid* but my question is how did you get here from there? in this two and a half yrs time what have you been doing with your hair? how have you been styling it?
Hi! I’ve been doing mainly twists and braids on my hair (without extensions) for the majority of my journey! I love mini twists, chunky twists, box braids, and French braids mainly. I have tutorials of all of them on my channel. I hope that helps! :) 💕
1:52 I “smole” a whole smile to see your beautiful results. I don’t understand why I stopped wearing my mini twists but you are helping my resolve to resume this, easily one of the most perfect ways to style a gorgeous, luscious mane. Thanks for sharing your success with us! ❤
Your tip to moisturize your hair is the best tip for me. I've had trouble figuring out what products moisturize my hair. Throughly. I always have to use mutilple products to get my hair to a moisturize state. I have my hair in mini twist now, which does wonders to my hair, how do you moisture your mini twist and what products do you use?
