Dude I bought this game 6 days ago, beat the main story and separate ways and I’m already on a second playthrough on chapter 13, nearly finished again. That is how amazing this game is. It’s better than the original lol

I think besides the obvious, there are 2 key differences between these games: in 2018, a lot of major attacks were slowed down for a second to emphasize its power and destructiveness. Whenever I use the Blades (especially), I felt like the combat was missing something from its predecessor and that was basically what I was trying to figure out. The other is that the camera seems to shake less by default in Ragnarok compared to 2018. I think it was for more combat stability but I personally really enjoyed the chaos in it. I do however, feel that Ragnarok’s combat felt more fluid and attacks connected much better. Sad that they had to exchange it for some power in the attacks though

The cinematography doesn't make sense this way. In the original, the player doesn't get time to analyze what Isaac is looking at before Nicole attacks. In this one, they delay the attack so much that they might as well have not done it. That, and they were afraid of scaring the player.
