I stared in Audio over 20 years ago but quickly got into video shooting and editing. in Audio I started with Cool Edit Pro (now Audition) and Pro Tools. Nowadays i'm using LogicPro X for most of my audio work, sometimes Adobe Audition. in Video I started with AVID Media Composer and Premiere but started to use Final Cut Pro with Version 6... used Premiere Pro with version CS6 ... but now I'm 99,9% FCP. In Terms Video Camera equipment Sony VX1000 / PD150 and the legendary Panasonic AG-DVX100. and several other Cameras shooting HD on tape or card. My 1st Video-DSLR was the Canon 550D / Rebel T2i ... after that 60D and 70D, but after that I switched to Sony and was one of the 1st Sony a7s owners in Germany. Nowadays I regularly uses Sony a5100, Sony a6300, Sony a7rIII, Sony FS7 and others. Mostly shoot Video and Photo for Lifestyle, Automotive, Urban Art/Graffiti, Corporate and so on. My "day-job" is basically working for / with Red Tower Films #TeamRedTower
how do you connect a mic and an SSD to the phone? I have a rode wireless go first generation. and I want to connect an SSD while also having a power source option but I can't find a connector that would allow me to do that.
I know dbrand had problems with the ghost case but I had mine for 5 months. It is scratched up very easily and hard to take the phone out but where it fails cosmetically, it makes up in strength. I banged my phone with the case and I’ll tell you. The phone is still intact. The purpose of the phone case is to have a pretty phone.
I have had the old cage from new and never had an issue with the cage lock. My iPhone is in that cage permanently. Shame they don’t do rubber inserts for the cold shoe mounts as they do catch and scratch hands most of the time. I made a couple out of balsa wood to stop being scratched. Thanks for sharing
@@victorseantech most likely a problem with the cable or usb-c adapter … for example the smallrig usb-c adapter does not support data … only works for rode wireless go or power
I have one of these on the way, the night shot mode moves the IR Blocking filter out of the way and makes the camera full spectrum i have heard there is a way to add friction to the switch with a folded peace of paper and slowly move the switch so the filter moves out of the way but you are still in full manual. other similar cameras like the sony dsc v1, dsc v3 , and dsc f717(and a few others ) have a trick where you can use a strong magnet to pull the filter out of the way. i have already done some aerochrome style ir photos with other cameras but the missing glass causes focus issue so i think the better auto focus on this camera can compensate
I chosen Neewer cage and first of all... doesn't fit to Freewell lenses... T-mount is different between suppliers, additionally is very delicated and is easy to scrach this cage... Anybody knows what other than Neewer anamorphic lens fit to this T-mount apart from Freewell?

most of the time I use the Sony 12-24mm or the Sony/Zeiss 16-35mm ... I balance both lense at 20mm ... that works quite ok ... if I know I only use it on 12 or 16mm I balance the gimbal on that specific focal length
@@MichaelSchmidt_UrbnPxl i did the same thing with my fujinon 10 24. I've balanced it on 18 mm and gimbal DJI RS4 doesn't show any orange or red indicators when i zoom in or out. The most important is that the lens has to zoom inside the barrel all the time.
@@MichaelSchmidt_UrbnPxl I have one from Shitfcam but I won't ever recommend that company. Their customer service is poor and their phase case fell apart in 2 weeks.
I have this nice little camera. Just a note, you can unscrew the ring around the lens and attach a small tube which is a bit longer than the full extension of the lens and attach so you can attach a filter to it.
As someone who bought a Viltrox DC-550 Lite and returned it within two days, I think there is ONE very important factor, which is NEVER mentioned throughout all the videos about this field monitor. Unless you buy the item from Viltrox directly, you do not get access to firmware updates! Unlike competitive brands like Feelworld or Osee and more, who offer firmware updates on their websites at an easy search, Viltrox does not do this. I bought mine from Amazon and reached out to Viltrox asking for access to firmware updates and was told "..no, you didn't buy it from us..." and they cut off communication and haven't replied since. As this video proves, firmware updates can be critical and if you're buying something above $100-$150, it shouldn't be unreasonable to have an expectation (regardless of where something is bought) you can patch it and fix it. I went with a Feelworld F6 Pro ultimately and it's great, and despite the firmware being dated on the website, it's at least available.
I purchased TWO Viltrox DC-550s (NOT the PRO version) from B&H! I love the form factor, great sun hood, amazing BRIGHT image! However, I may have to return both due to ZERO customer support from Viltrox! Firmware updates are nowhere to be found and all contact with VILTROX is in Chinese! I failed to research this aspect online before ordering!

I want to know what's back there too. You said they make a case too? I'd like the cage to protect the back of the phone, but does not look like this cage would work with any case on your phone. (But you obviously have SOMETHING on there? What is it?)
Awesome video! One thing I'm struggling with on my monitor is getting displays to show. E.g focus peaking display and zebra display. I shoot with the A7iv but cannot see anywhere how to get these things showing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I like their stuff but the selfie stick and its bluetooth Knob just doesnt held up. The Batterie will not make contact after a while.. Also many photos I missed because it wasnt working properly to take a shot. Or sometimes the Button was hanging and it made like 100 pics... the on off switch and the knob are not really great quality. sorry to say.
